in the hardware forum but have had no response (32 views after 2 days).
It's fookin wierd and scary and it gives me the heeby-jeebys and it's hampering my Tracktionificationalityisms!!!

:lol: - sounds like you changed something about your computer-hardware that changed your hardware id.
In other words: if I'm right Tracktion thinks it's not installed on the same machine anymore and runs in demo-mode.

Demo-mode has a soft hiss every few seconds.

Please check if Tracktion is still registered.

(check on the 'about'-screen)

If so, then try to plug the computer's voltage cable
somewhere else...

Yeah. Every minute sometimes. Sometimes a longer gap. Its like the sound of someone slowly pumping a pump action shotgun a hundred yard away.

shick [pause a second] shick

The shicks are a wee bit different just like pumping a shotgun makes two slighly different sounds.

It used to happen on this boot but it went away now it happens on my supposedly spanking clean DAW boot!
