Having adjusted latency settings, I have found things to work well in Logic X, and have gained back the use of my Miroslav and SampleMoog libs. There are several usable sounds in the library also (as there should be - with all the hard drive space ST3 is taking up). I'm even finding the standalone player to be useful for quick scratch play. There's still quite a bit of room for improving the thing (especially, for me - allowing the keyswitch trigger keys to be edited) -- but overall.. worth the cost. 1 1/2 thumbs up.
You shouldn't be feeling grateful for having had to spend $99 (or whatever it was) for a 64 bit Sampletank player... which should have been free... which had no demo (and still doesn't - LOL)...
The whole thing is just abysmal - it took 10 years to produce this? 10 years? How did those voice patches get in there? Why are they in there? I've heard the demos of them, who on Earth decided they were acceptable? They can't even produce a demo version? How hard can it be? LOL.

I wish you the best again, and whatever decision you make will be the right one. Thank you for making me regret showing an ounce of empathy for your situation and attempting a touch of humor. Medium and audience noted, analogy was just fine though.
You shouldn't regret trying to help someone, even if it was not appreciated. It is all you can do, and most other people are aware of that.

You should regret sulking in public when you work in customer or community management, because it comes across as unprofessional. Kitchen and heat.
I totally agree. You would think that a company representative would always be polite, and not take anything personally, seeing as that isn't what they're paid to do. "Thank you for making me regret showing an ounce of empathy for your situation and attempting a touch of humor." This is like a five year old.

There are a range of systems. I've suggested contacting the support team to see if they can arrange a virtual tour (ok a list... :) ) of the systems used for testing/development.

just because he's paid doesn't mean he's not human.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Were here at the 'beginning of next week', is the demo ready? :)

Thomann has the boxes, probably ready to ship within the next couple of days.

Could we have one of the solo vocalists, say, Marvin, singing 'REDRUM! REDRUM! REDRUM!'

Not yet. I will share the news here as soon as I know it is available. Thanks.

Ol' Pete can get a little petty at times, but the man does take a truckload of crap. He's bitten at me before, but nothing major.

Anyone can always improve the way they deal with others, but by and large, the man does a pretty fair job considering the brambles of comments he wades through pretty much on a daily basis.

I know I would have slipped out of customer service rep character more times and a lot uglier than he ever has.

Not trying to excuse or condone any poor behavior, just putting it in context.

AIR, the last shmooze was to the beginning of the next week. Now we just N2K their definition of 'beginning'...
And of course, 'next' and 'week'... and anything else they can shmooze into ambiguity.

I think most of us have figured out their definition of 'soon' though. ;)

The demo isn't here, Mrs. Torrance.
You need to limit that rez, bro.

Anything under 10 years would be acceptable, and a move in the right direction, IMO.

And they should be questioned daily until it is!
(Or at least until the 'next' - by then - 'soon' - shmooze).
:D

Just lower your expectations as far as possible. Even ikm will exceed them at some point
