will these 3rd legacy sampletank addon import bugs ever gone ? how long it will take to solve this ?

tbh i gets more and more tired about those bugs and at this point i don´t know if i would upgrade ever again !

as i said earlier the crashes on some are definetly not gone !

tried to import again Sonik Synth 2 , nice that it know imports the macro settings , but not complete , the attack knob on the macro page are still missing

This is a long thread so this may have already been brought up but a precedent was set I think with ST2 where in the past IK did sell an "engine only" upgrade (no sounds) I'm pretty sure. No idea how much cheaper it was than the regular upgrade path though. It would have been a long time ago (10 years?)....

DrumAddict - There were definitely updates to the import process in the first update and in 3.0.2 (related to user imports there though) if your issues were not fixed continue working with support and they will see what is going on.

Edit - misread, have to check about any engine only version that was actually sold if at all.

I remember it was in my user account for a long time (may still be, haven't looked for a while). I think I maybe got it free as some sort of early upgrade deal or something but you could also buy it I believe (again it's a long time ago so I could be mis-remembering).....

Downloaded and installed the free ST3.
Officially crashed and I have canceled my order from Sweetwater.
Thank you IKM for getting this to us in time for me to find out I should let this pass.

I could read this entire thread, but I'm not going to...............

What are the system requirements for running the free version. I can't find any info on the site.(Downloaded it but don't have time to install right now)
Also is the free piano in the download or an account ? I could find no link anywhere.

Look forward to trying it.

The RME ASIO latency bug (I will call it a bug until I hear otherwise from IK) is still crashing Cubase.

Have they updated your ticket? I've been told it works without issue at 64 samples but not 48 and since that is not acceptable for your workflow/use it has been passed to the development team for further review and they should have some feedback for you in a few days.

Yet you're the only I've seen report that IK 's 64 Bit plugins don't work at all. They work just fine on my system. :shrug:

There are frequently "system specific issues" where a certain plugin just doesn't play well with a certain system. If IK support can't sort out your issue I guess there's nothing you can do but it's not as simple as "everything else works fine so it can't be my system"........

Yes, yes, we went through all of that. Except that IK support knew the complete system and believes there was no reason for it not to work. And were at a loss of figuring out why. And as I also have added, Notion 4/5 now joins that club too. The difference being in that Presonus acknowledge they would work on an update for theirs and IK basically said it's not a problem unless it happens to a lot of people.

It's just computer science - right?

But no worries, I'm officially done with it.
