Forgive me if there is already a thread on this, but I was curious what software my fellow Tracktioneers use for mastering.

REaktor, nothing beats the sound of the flatblaster and maybe firium for eq before it and than a simple limiter at the end. Depends on the track though.....REaktor 4's flatblaster is the best compressor I have ever heard.....it got a unique sound to it......I love it. And element audio eq's rule.

I use adobe Audition. Formerly Cool Edit Pro.

:? yes, sometimes I really use it - it has a lot
of options and algorithms and if you know what you do and you have enough time to tweak it you can get some nice results... :)

If youre looking for a cheap but noteworthy in the least, check out N-track.

:-o  N-Track is the worst deal I ever made -
I registered it but never managed to really use it because it is so buggy - apart from that it's a sequencer such as e.g. Tracktion and not a wave-editor or mastering processor, so in what way do you suggest to use it? :?

Curve EQ, Sonalksis compressor, TLS maximizer.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.
