First of all: sorry my poor english I will try to be simple. I don't know is this a good place to ask about improvements too, but I will try. :)
So, after some hour play and smile with this instrument :hyper: , I sensed some quality differences from the saw oscillator, in Bazille. :phones: (headphones highly recommended) The case: It is an simple SAW oscillator without any filtering option. When I play lower keys from high (play notes from high to low step by step) it is sounds like the sound quality goes down too. I can't describe better than that loses the sharpness of the sound if I play lower keys. I think it is not too good virtue in this fantastic instrument. :( When we make a 'big sound' synth patch the "real" live is lost from sound. I feel this.
I did not experience the same thing from the DIVA oscillators or for example from the NI Massive. I tried set Bazille to HQ mode, but I did not perceive a big difference. Because I wanted to see the difference, so I rendered the audio waveforms at C1 key level. The blue line show Bazille saw signal and the purple from DIVA. It seems the periods lose lot of harmonics. This cause a little poor sound at lower freqencies for me. Of course I dont think Bazille will have Diva oscillators but I hope U-HE will improve this thing. If I can not take something that is caused this effect, I apologize about that and who can please show me the secret for me:)

Don't expect DIVA and Bazille oscillators to sound the same. They are different synths using different methods of synthesis, of course oscillators won't sound or behave the same.

Yes, I know as I wrote. I compare that with other synths too. The results are same. Now Bazille saw osc sounds poor for me.

Bazille is in a sense a deviously modified CZ-style phase distortion synth. The basic saw here is authentic to the hardware and it's algorithms, but it can be reforged with the expanded scheme in Bazille. For example, feeding the saw through a filter and cranking the gain quite a bit brightens up the top end, as does modulating phase (up to a certain point) by a sine wave of the same frequency. This may never quite match a dinosaur clone, but there are ways to end up with a Godzilla.

I actually like the sound of Bazilles saw. Heres a little something I whipped up from scratch as a learning exercise.

Well, with Phase Distortion synthesis one needs to find a balance between the slope of the phase wrap and aliasing. We're already going beyond the original hardware, because oversampling reduces the aliaising and lets us do a steeper slope. Unfortunately we don't want to go any further.

For very low frequencies, maybe try FM-Sawtooth instead (Oscillator without PD modulating its own phase)

Alternatively, use the TapMap feature to create a waveform with more harmonics.

I haven't been reading the forum lately. Has there been an announcement about how long the Bazille sale will be on for? I don't want to miss out.

Anyone else having trouble with the 2370 download link? It's just sending me to a blank white page.

Yes, that link is 404 here.

It's not a sale, it's an introductory offer for early adopters. There is a difference. ;)

It will remain active at least until Bazille is released, but probably also a few days or weeks after that.
Cheers
