On further use, it appears that Serum's making me re-enter my reg code after I save something and then re-open the interface

I am having a lot of fun with the wavetable and the wavetable position knob (WT Pos)
I use my voice to control a peak controller and then link it to the WT Pos.
Then I use serum as the carrier and my voice as the modulator in a vocoder plugin.
Lot's of fun for me to just drag and drop hundreds of one or two second wave samples I made in the past and play with wavetable editor until I get lucky.

Yeah this is great. Flexible like Waldorf Nave - lots of modulation - super easy to import third party waveforms into the table plus seemingly quite deep editing. For my workflow this looks like it will do everything that Blofeld, Largo, Massive, Synthmaster, WaveGenerator didn't do for me. I'm in!

Just did a quick test with Serum, loving it! Not as CPU-heavy as I thought it'd be.

so one thing Im noticing, I take it your limited by the total amount of mod slots in the mod matrix as to what you can mod (thats alotta mod right there)?
I was trying to add an lfo or env to some things on some of the presets thinking it may sound cool, just to realize it wont let me, and it kept bugging me wondering why i couldnt add any mods. Then I realized looking on the mod page that all the slots were full, so I take it thats why?

i noticed that the delay time didn't include any triplet times. might be nice to have a 1/3, 3/4 or however you want to do it. unless i missed that option somewhere.
also, wouldn't mind a reverb decay time independent of size also.
but other than that.....
AWESOME work. Most fun i've had playing with a new synth in a very long time.

Thank you! A 2nd reverb algo is something I do want to add and I'll def. keep in mind a spin/modulation.This is great, really exciting. Any chance we could have a spin/modulation control on the reverb?
Yes, at one point I had a dialog which would appear when they were all used and you tried to drag another, I'm not quite sure where that went (will investigate, thanks!)i couldnt add any mods. Then I realized looking on the mod page that all the slots were full, so I take it thats why?
You can drag the number boxes below the delay times up or down, you'll notice them "snap" at 75% or 25% (1.3333 or 0.6666) and the display reads "trip".might be nice to have a 1/3, 3/4 or however you want to do it. unless i missed that option somewhere.
I'll be trying to add a second reverb algo in the future as mentioned above, I'll keep this in mind as well.also, wouldn't mind a reverb decay time independent of size also.
Thanks all for the nice words!

Damn this thing sounds pretty effin' good. Really solid tones coming out of it.
Opened it up, (thank god it opens up to the INIT patch) started tweaking sudo random parameters. Could get around fairly easy within the first few minutes and modulation routing is a breeze. Think of NI's Massive drag 'n' drop but with a modulation matrix as well for further editing other than just your standard positive/negative values.
It does sound very modern but it has the ability to get that lo-fi wavetable aesthetics found on older digital/analog hybrids.
To me, the sound of it is very inspiring and has a quality where I actually want to play it. I'm basing this off of 40 mins of play time that went by in 3mins. so very tempted to buy this right now.
BTW, I'm not like a big EDM head guy. More into Synthwave, Outrun, Nu Disco, Boogie, Funk, House, etc... I find it's flexible enough to do things other than just peak hour, "bangers" as some of the demos have been in that vein.

Is there's a way to midi map the arrow buttons for the oscillator and filter types. Are there plans for this in the future?
This thing just begs for sound design and would be really great to be able to get to such vital parameters without having to mess about with a mouse or trackpad. I feel a synth like this could replace damn near 75% of my hardware and software.
If a basic midi controller won't work, would something like Liine Lemur be capable of executing such actions?
Best,
ens
Update: It is not possible. Although I think this is something that a lot of users could really benefit from though.

Another very happy customer here!
I've never demo'd a synth so little before buying it and, though I already have many of the "top" synths, GAS hit me like a tidal wave.
I'm still scratching its surface but Serum is a perfect combination of ease-of-use and deep editing.
The GUI is very pleasant to look at (perfect colour scheme and fonts) and all the parameters are in their right place.
The only thing it's missing is an arp. (though sequences can be made with the LFOs)
Now enough writing, let's get back to making patches!
Thanks Steve,
Vincent
