Dream bells made by importing a ship bell sample from one of my libs, making a wavetable, velocity->wavetable morph, vel->envelope2 amount->warp, tuned peak filter and god knows what:

Great stuff!Skyre wrote:Here's a couple of ambient patches I was working on during the beta. I'll be releasing a complete ambient pack which hopefully should be up on the Xfer website in the near future.
No post-processing was added as to demonstrate Serum's beauty out of the box.
First patch includes a Noise recording of my kitchen boiler's clock. Second patch is a wavetable created with a recording of my bathroom tap.

I imported a saw waveform from my Nord Lead 2x!
It's the arp in this snippet (another Serum instance plays a pluck sound based on a built-in waveform).

Just catching up with this thread...
Day one Serum owner. Design workflow is super intuitive and the sound is undeniably powerful.
Congrats to bitcrusher and the team on a job well done! Looking forward to using this on many more tracks in the future.
Cheers,

Love your demos, simon. It's a refreshing break from the 100s of wubwubwub demos.Sampleconstruct wrote:Dream bells made by importing a ship bell sample from one of my libs, making a wavetable, velocity->wavetable morph, vel->envelope2 amount->warp, tuned peak filter and god knows what:

Sorry to be pedantic, but that's a patch menu, not in any way a patch browser in the way it's come to be known.4damind wrote:There is a patch browser but it's only a menu with sub-menus. It's not some of this full featured browsers with tags, categories, filter function etc. I think such a browser should be implemented with some of the next updates.
