Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you judge people like you were some kind of moral police office or owning this forum. Spamming me with 2 private messages repeating yourself with your self made up rules. Understand once and for all:

1. You are not a moderator.
2. you are trying to enforce a rule that doesn't exist!

If you go back and read the discussion there were several people that didn't agree with your self made up rule. And there was no consensus about what to do from that point.

Do you really think you matter so much to me that I want vengeance? For me the discussion was ower but now you have put it right back on line. Those pictures I have posted are very tiny and I think they benefit the users so they quickly can see if it's something interesting or not they want to click.

I thought it was sort of a "gentleman's agreement" to keep the main thread to text-only.

Not everyone is a gentleman, though.

Seriously, it was really out of control with giant fake box images for just about every product, single posts that were a full page of multiple tutorial videos, lots and lots of sound examples, etc.

After the discussion, it chilled out to text-only with only the occasional image.

I and others sent PMs or posted here about those... all that I wrote to cordially agreed, until IQ25.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty good while it lasted.

Bring on the free-for-all, if you must.

I'm not sure if you're kidding or not. There's no 616, so if you're making fun of that, I can't help. But if you're talking about the 6i6: IMO it's a great interface with incredible flexibility. It uses Focusrite's MixControl software which basically allows you to freely route inputs and outputs to your heart's content and store that configuration on the hardware. You can then unplug the interface from the computer and use it standalone. For example, I configure it to route the mic inputs to SPDIF and then connect the 6i6 to my 18i20 together with a Behringer ADA8200 for a total of 18 analog inputs
MixControl and the standalone mode is what made me choose the 6i6 over NI's Komplete Audio 6.

I can't scientifically say if the preamps are great or not. Let's just say, for me they have always worked fine.

I think what needs to be done is to open a new Bargain thread, where it is stated very clearly that use of images is not encouraged, and then ask the mods to make that sticky.

What a hypocrite. Do you by the way really think that your "IQ-statements" will hit any other than yourself like a boomerang? How naive can one be.
