I just purchased the Receptor VIP and looking to buy a VGA monitor and keyboard. I've looked around but the ones I've seen are too bulky. I'm looking for something and light and portable.

You might need some funky cabling to get this adapt to your Receptor (I ended up with 2-3 adapters), but it does work.
Hope this helps,

I've been using an iPad with a free VNC app to access my Receptor onstage for a few years now. Works great!
Free MOCHA VNC iPad app works just fine.

My favorite source for VGA monitors is now Goodwill, Salvation Army, EBAY, and any local Charity Shops. With the transition to HDMI / HD monitors, there are THOUSANDS of LCDs around that cost $10 to $30, which not only saves you a ton of money, it means that if the screen gets dropped / scratched / stolen/ lost cracked / left behind / bashed with a beer bottle / or otherwise rendered inoperable, you're not out a whole lot of money and there are plenty of replacements to be found at similar prices!

I just finished configuring the ATT Lapdock per Kevin's recommendation and it works great! Only paid $80 off of ebay and has the monitor, keyboard, and trackpad all in one small unit that fits in my rack drawer. The only shaky portion was finding and ordering the female Micro connector adapters that only seem to be available from Chinese companies...good luck getting a tracking number, but when the cables and adapters finally came it worked like a charm.
