Oh, that's a great idea! Probably easier to make them work together that way

Would be good if the macro controls were not poked away in a corner and had room for the text (or SD's didn't use long names like this) - also many patches don't make very good use of the macros, if at all.
Can we have global options to say if we want to see the 3D view for waves? - most patches have it turned off and it is annoying to keep having to enable it again.

This thing is such a nice pad machine, I mean it can do almost everything, but also pads, and pads, and pads, and pads, and drones and pads, and paddrones.........

The only weaker aspect of Serum is the reverb I must say, I keep on modulating the pre delay with a slow free running LFO to create some subtle modulations, otherwise it's too static, ringy and not diffused enough. But that's not a problem, just a personal opinion of course.

hmmm...i need a little help. im probably just being stupid somehow, but i cant seem to be able to drag multiple files in fl studio. the fl studio file browser wont let me select more than one file at a time. i also cant do it by opening the folder separately and dragging it from there.PietW. wrote:Make Wavetables with Serum. So easy.
Please excuse the poor quality.
any ideas?

Agreed, reverb is hard work.Sampleconstruct wrote:The only weaker aspect of Serum is the reverb I must say, I keep on modulating the pre delay with a slow free running LFO to create some subtle modulations, otherwise it's too static, ringy and not diffused enough. Luckily I rarely use the built-in reverb on synths. Using B2 or Valhalla usually sounds soooo much better.Sampleconstruct wrote:The only weaker aspect of Serum is the reverb I must say, I keep on modulating the pre delay with a slow free running LFO to create some subtle modulations, otherwise it's too static, ringy and not diffused enough. Sure, that always works, but it's also good not to have to rely on external spaces when creating patches.quantum7 wrote:Luckily I rarely use the built-in reverb on synths. Agreed, I don't know many synths that have great built in reverbs.quantum7 wrote:

It would be nice but perhaps to much to expect.
In this case, since Serum does sound excellent, it creates high expectations of the effects.
How do you think the reverb compares to say, Zebras Verb?
