Better get it up on the new page ...some very nice sounds here. Reminded me of Ryuichi Sakomoto's darker moments

This is meditation music for serial killers. Very impressive, though.Sampleconstruct wrote:Some more calm meditation music here

I picked these up and just finished checking them out.PatchAdamz wrote:"Concentrated" for Serum is now available and affordable.

Thread HERE
An excellent add-on for Serum, more atmospheric and tons of warmer pads.
Serum comes with mostly dance oriented presets, these were MUCH more to my personal taste and musicality.
Nice job Patch.

If I program sounds I do not need a DAW. The synth is in stand-alone.chaosWyrM wrote:thats what im saying...i cant. i cant drag from outside fl studio at all...and inside fl studio i can only drag one at a time.highkoo wrote:Drag from OS window.

would love it if serum randomized on its own with a morph slider between presets

Wavetable format?
What are the specs for the wavetables;
- size (length) ?
- resolution (bit depth) ?
- is there a wavetable editor / creation tool available, and to convert from other wavetable sources eg. the Calbanum sets ?
Thanks,
Michael.

You don't need a separate creation tool/editor. The ability to create/manipulate wavetables 'in-synth' is one of Serum's fundamental building blocks. If you've got any interest in rolling your own wavetables or working with wavetables you already own (WAV/AIFF format), I'd recommend trying the demo ASAP.michaelmoye wrote:Wavetable format?

I really want to like Serum. But...
I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, this is just a post to thank the other posters...you have given me so many ideas and opened up things I might never have looked at.
So far, aside from CPU related (similar in DIVA) this is a fantastic build. If optimizations get in place, well, I might like it, ha!

Sorry if this has already been covered but I tried the demo on Win XP Cubase 5.5.3 and the presets are not found. It is asking for the install folder? I searched around but could not find the presets. I selected the presets check box on the install options. Any ideas why they are not showing up?

Amazing soundSampleconstruct wrote:Some more calm meditation music here, using an impact hammer sound I recorded in a harbour in the Noise Osc which is FM- modulating Osc 1 which is using a wavetable made from an imported metallic impact sound. Modwheel controls FM amount and the Macros do the rest.
I love stuff like this.

just a little heads up for someone in the future...anyone who comes across this and is using automap...you will need to change automap to also not run in administrator mode...otherwise you wont be able to control anything with your hardware.4damind wrote:You are welcomechaosWyrM wrote:this was exactly the problem. changed from running as administrator and it worked perfectly.4damind wrote:Maybe he is running FL as administrator?
