Thanks Teoti. :tu:

Hi there,

Might have missed the answer, but it was asked before in this thread.
How about plugin delay compensation in 1.1? Can you adjust per track? Does the "external hardware" have a separate delay setting ? .

Anyone know if jack midi would be supported in 1.1?

I know there are workarounds, but native support is always better :)

Did you know that if you hold the button of a tool down it will automatically switch back to the tool you were using before when you let go? So you can simply hold down 5, click where you want to split, and then let go. That seems very similar to placing your cursor and hitting ctrl+e like in Live, maybe even easier.

nope, i did not) thanx!

hey tom.
can we sidechain just one chain of drum machine in 1.1?
can we do this kind of loop record automation in 1.1?

not exactly, but there's a nifty workaround:
create a new track and blank clip (the same length as the bounce you'd like), and add the new Audio Receiver device to it. set its input to the drum machine pad you want as a separate, and right-click the blank clip > bounce. not quite as fast as a 'native' solution but it's much quicker than realtime-recording each track into a new audio track

Post

Do assigned parameters in the device panel mappings update when the parameter names change now? It's pretty bad that when a parameter named changes in a plug-in, bigwig's name parameter name stays the same for hardware devices.

Hitting solo and just bouncing a time selection on the master also comes in handy pretty often!

gah! i always forget about that one. thanks for the reminder :)

Would that work if it's sidechained to another drum? (which, I'm hoping is possible in 1.1... would be sort of like mute groups)

What I would find infinitely more useful than bouncing a time selection or loop of a single drum pad chain, would if you could just bounce (ie. resample) a single pad, like in Maschine. Given that you usually are creating single shot sounds with drum pads, a lot of time you'd want to just resample the plug-in on that pad and have the audio replace the devices on the pad.
