Hi Vojtech,
If you have to decide between all your plugs, which three would you take without effects like reverb and so on to get a good balanced mix?
Thanks and greets
Marek

Hi Marek,
you mean which 3 I would choose, if I could use just these to do the whole mix? Well, MAutoDynamicEq, MDynamics. And then if there would be acoustic drums or some other multimiked stuff, I'd go with MAutoAlign. If not, MSpectralDynamics as the ultimate fixer of various things

I'd vote for MFreeEffectsBundle, MCreativeBundle and MMasteringBundle

That would work even better

I know you asked Vojtech specifically, but your question made me stop and think. If I could use only three plugins to do a mix, what would they be?
Top of the list, the most essential class of plugin is an equalizer. MDynamicEQ fills the bill just fine, but might as well go with its big brother MAutoDynamicEQ just in case you ever need the extra filters or spectrum matching.
Next most-important would be compression and limiting, so MDynamics definitely makes the list because its impressive feature list would let it fill almost any dynamics role.
The third slot would have to be MReverb, simply because reverb's the most-used effect. But if my desert island happened to have a cave, then slot 3 would be MSpectralDynamics. Like Vojech says, it's an all-around problem solver and smooth-ifier.

Didn't ask without some background. I own so much plugs, which made my mixing not better, nor faster. I try to change to the simpliest and most effective way to mix.

I bought MAutoAlign couple of days ago. I tried it today to different tracks of a song: congas (four mics), snares & overheads (four mics), and an acoustic guitar (two mics). This plugin is an awesome tool! So easy and so great!
I realized that I need to go through the whole album which is in mixing progress. Great work!

Question for Vojtech: Is there an upgrade price for MAutoDynamicEQ available to owners of MDynamicEQ? Clearly, if you had the former there would be little need for the latter. Since Dave Townsend has so extensively covered these in recent SoundBytes articles, I've got a much better appreciation of the value of MAutoDynamicEQ and I'm kicking myself for not just picking that one in the first place.MeldaProduction wrote:you mean which 3 I would choose, if I could use just these to do the whole mix?
