Hi the oscillators are working at double their set frequency in Hz mode, i.e. if I set it to 24Hz it outputs a 48Hz signal.

I have this in both reaper and ableton, on both the old beta versions and the new v1.0 version of Bazille.

The oscillators drop an octave with most settings, so it's arguably not a bug.

You mean the ususal octave drop with phase distortion if you set an oscillator to alternate between waveforms, yes? I'd certainly agree that's within what I call "arguably".

I personally would prefer to keep it as is simply for the sake of my old projects coming out right when I need to reawaken them.

And if you change it you may soon have someone complaining about the opposite anyway...

We certainly don't want to destroy existing projects/presets. We'll carefully decide what to do.
