Is there a way I can specifically reduce/remove the volume sensitivity to velocity without affecting the filter behaviour?
This isnt the way it behaves on my system either.

Ok I checked again, you are right. I must have screwed up something else or I just didn't listen good enough.

Oh and the next question right away :)

I attached note to filter 1 frequency in midi settings. AFAIK filter is per voice and not global. But if I hit a note, hold it, and hit the next, the filter frequency for BOTH notes is changed. Shouldn't be like that, should it?

Post

No! :) You need to use the "By velocity" panels in filters ;). MIDI settings are and always will be global.

Ah OK.

I haven't downloaded the latest beta and don't know if anybody has mentioned this but there is audible stepping when pitch bend is set to a high value. Variable smoothing like you have implemented for the multiparameters and mods would be great.

+1 for setting the trigger mode of the LFOs, so I'd like to set if an LFO should start when a note is pressed or if it should just swing. Button could be called "retrigger"...

Did you notice the "MIDI RESET" options (lower part of screenshot)?

This. It's the most flexible retriggering I've ever seen.

The synth has improved a lot since the beta launched. The pulse-width, which I didn't even think to ask for, is great.

I have a question/feature request: is there a way to tie notes together in the arpeggiator? Basically, I want to be able to, when it's the same note twice in a row, choose for it to NOT retrigger. There's also a bug that makes no sense to me with the Arp. In Reaper, I've been using the built in keyboard to design presets. (Alt+B). When I enable the arp, the synth no longer makes any sound when using this keyboard. However, notes play fine from the midi track? I have no idea why it would do that but it would be great for this to get fixed...

I also got a crash that I'd be happy to help with but it didn't reproduce. Is there a way for me to track down a log I could send? MPowerSynth was the only thing running in my DAW.

Just to take off some working time for answers of Vojtech: :wink:

@robertszalapski:
- I just asked for the same thing in the arpeggiator (it's similar to the "Accent" on a TB 303), but I'm afraid we don't get it for now... :(
- Concerning the built-in keyboard: this will not be fixed, I've got the same problem in Ableton Live with the built-in keyboard. The only way for a workaround is to use a "real", physical keyboard.
- Concerning bug reporting: if you're on a Mac, just go to the folder ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ - you should find the crashlogs there...just send the one that represents your problem to MeldaProduction
