Will there be more FXs or upgrade to the FXs (specially the reverb)?

I plan (ideally) both a second algo option for the reverb and ALSO a spin/modulation feature inside the existing one. However I don't like to make promises because, well, vaporware. But, with that said, that's the currentl plan! Will there be more FXs or upgrade to the FXs (specially the reverb)?

I use two of tal synths and think they are fantastic. But honestly i think the reverb is the achilles heel of serum. So i do hope u give a second option. What would be even more fantastic is a global choice so all my existing patches would use the reverb of choice.

Was just thinking today how a modulation parameter on the reverb would be so cool, and boom...bitcrusher wrote:I plan (ideally) both a second algo option for the reverb and ALSO a spin/modulation feature inside the existing one. What about an option to solo individual FX? So we dont have to turn off all others if we want to preview just the reverb?bitcrusher wrote:I plan (ideally) both a second algo option for the reverb and ALSO a spin/modulation feature inside the existing one. Thanks, flattery will get you everywhere!Thanx, great synth u have there
I've added alt-clicking the FX Bypass to the next (upcoming) beta, which sets all bypass toggle switches to the same state. I believe this is what you're after! What about an option to solo individual FX? So we dont have to turn off all others if we want to preview just the reverb?

The Roland D-50 was a pretty unique synth, and had some great sounds.
I have seen a lot of post here on KVR about what synth can emulate it.
Well here is an ambient/electronic style emulation of the D-50.
One live preset:

Output slider in the Matrix tab.brick wrote:Is it possible to mod the LFOs' depth ?
Fabulous synth btw!
Edit: Read your question wrong, Aux source is what you want which can be further adjusted by the output slider.

Playing around ... every four measures everything you hear, percussion included, is coming from a single preset with a single C3 note. All that is on this track is Serum with a limiter on the master.
Edit: Did some house cleaning and removed the track from SoundCloud.

I have been messing around with that idea of importing a whole (or part) song into Serum, then adding some effects.
Its cool, but playability is limited to one note (generally Middle C), so....
Its a very capable synth for sure.

4 more macro slots, 4 more LFOs, and 3 times as many matrix slots and you could probably make entire songs out of a single preset. Serum could usher in the KVR One-Preset-Challenge.Sparky77 wrote:I have been messing around with that idea of importing a whole (or part) song into Serum, then adding some effects.

Check out the many audio examples, its impressive, and these are with the first release.
But don't forget, you can make an entire song with a single violin, guitar, flute, piano, etc...
