Not sure I've seen this true mono problem mentioned on forum before, perhaps one of the TSC guys could chip in,or someone more experienced than myself.
Do you know you can put your drums parts into a folder track or at least you could.

I have problem with the latest version 5.3.14. It doesn't remember eq settings, leaving it flat when loading the edit. When i install 5.3.9 it works perfectly again, all eq settings are back. I use Toneboosters eq.
My computer: Windows 7 pro 64bit, I7-4790, 8GB ram.

I still am using T5 32bit version because a few plugins are 32bit only.

Let me clarify my statement (had a few too many beers last night ;) ). The tracks don't sound like crap when in normal mixing mode but if I render the formerly mono recording, enhanced with plugins (all mono plugins usually, pre-fader) in order to reduce CPU load, the result is a stereo track which, no matter what, has phasing issues and sound off compared to the pre-rendered track. Tracktion has an outstanding summing/mixing engine I must add, so the ability to render and mix in true mono would really help a lot of guys like me who use it mostly for recording actual instruments. Now, for guitar tracks when I add stereo effects or even reverbs, then a stereo output is obviously what you want. There are occasions when I add reverb to a kick or snare track and then stereo is ideal. I am a little intrigued with the ability for Tracktion to output in Sum/Diff (M/S) mode but I haven't really found a practical use for it yet. Anybody ever used this?

I use the TB-fix (AMAZING PLUGIN!!!) and the killer TB-reelbus and haven't noticed any problems keeping settings saved in 5.3.14 sessions and my rig is kind of like yours.

I haven't done this in a while, and I'm not near my computer to check, and the last time I tried it was in T3, but ... try disabling the volume/pan plugin on each track you want to stay in mono. You do that the same way you would a reverb or compressor or whatever; to Tracktion they're all the same in principle. If I'm remembering correctly, that should keep your tracks in mono.

Hmmmm, I'll try it. Seems as though it becomes stereo at the output/fader. Perhaps plugging in a mono channel strip and using that as the fader/pan might help.

The kind folks at Tone Boosters gave me a copy of Equaliser to test and I couldn't see any problems with it saving/restoring the state. I'm not sure what could be going on but have you checked the TB authorisation is being picked up correctly as if not, that will cause the settings to be discarded.

Yes, i have no problems with this in other DAWs. I have tested in Reaper and in S1. I´ll try to re-install and delete the settings. It seems that it is something in my computer causing this, if noone else have the same problem. Thanks for your reply.

This is happening with a lot of AUs - Korg, Arturia, XILs to name just 3 companies whose plugins are affected - just the first 2 params are available for automation.

I tried TB Equaliser v3 on 5.3.14 32, reloads settings just fine. OS is Win 8.1 x64 so not quite apples for apples.

Thanks for the AU parameter report guys. I managed to replicate it with Arturia Mini V. Fix will be in 5.3.15 coming very soon..
Cheers!

I still have the same problems with T5 forgetting all settings. Every edit i made with 5.3.9 (or before) can´t be played with the two newest versions. (5.3.14 and 5.3.15). The problem is that T5 doesn´t remember the settings from some of my synths and effects in general.
First i thought it was only Tonebooster it forgot. Now i realize it is more than that. An example is that when i use Firebird it forgets the setting for this too. I can see that version 5.3.13 made something with the plugin compatibility.
My question is, what was done at that moment? Before that it was working flawlessly.
I can tell you i have deleted every trace of T5 when i uninstalled it. Then i re-installed it but still the same problems. If i install 5.3.9 it works like normal. This is really a showstopper for me, and it seems i am the only one with this kind of problem. It would be great if i could get some answers from the crew, what to try or do, because i think i already tried most of the tricks to get it going. If it was just one edit i would suspect it was something wrong with that, but it is the same with another edit too.

My setup looks like this: PC, Win7 Pro 64bit, CPU 4790, 8 gb ram. I still use T5 as a 32bit. My computer is brand new, so i guess it´s nothing due to a re-install or something like that. T5 has been working great before, so i suspect it might have something to do with the changes done to 5.3.13. Anyone that have been experiencing the same or have any more ideas how to solve this? (I always run T5 as an administrator so that is not the issue)

Hello.

Still asked but…. Too much time lost on 30 tracks which need the same exact fade !
The same operation on each of the 30 tracks.

A special keystrokes while editing with the mouse and go !

Please. Thank you !

Hi. If I select a sound clip, expand it, and set in and out markers, I should be able to double-click within the markers to have Tracktion play only that clip. However, when I double-click, Tracktion closes down.
EDIT: sorted out in main chat thread.

Hi. If I hit the 'S' button beside a track, I presume it should solo that track. Instead it mutes it.
EDIT: sorted.
