So does Zebra can do awrything what Serum can do and buyond?!Coorec wrote:Wavetable import is already in Z2 and theres also a way to put samples in.
There are loads of wavetables presets in the user library as well. The import of Massive and Virus wavetables to Zebra, along wit its own and more, is why Z2 became my go to synth eventually.
I am interesting in Serum.
My money is not infinity so probably i can buy only one synth so if Zebra is that good i might get it insteed?!
P.s. Maby it is off topic or not but i found Uhe products sound agressive, like i tried demo of DIVA and Ace and oscilators espesialy sound agressive in comparison to let say DCam SynthSquade. And for my music suits more mellow sound. But ofacuse u never know what sound u migh need next. It would be nice if Uhe take a time to make theoir products be able to sound mellow too.

P.s.
Yes, i see, but i guess the sound quality won't be as good as Serum, so i have to wait for Zebra 3.
Let's see. Maby i will get Zebra instead.

You don't have to guess, chilly7 - haven't you tried the Zebra2 demo yet?

Zebra and Serum are completely different animals. Zebra can do a lot more than Serum does as far as effects and synthesis techniques are concerned, on the other hand, Serum can do a lot more with wavetables than Zebra can. It's pointless to compare them bit by bit, they're quite complimentary, I find.

Not yet. I collect information before the trip( The same as u do when u travel to forigh country u collect information first and then go)Howard wrote:You don't have to guess, chilly7 - haven't you tried the Zebra2 demo yet?
It is not esy to tell how the instrument is at full depth espeasialy so complex as Zebra 2 and Serum by ur self right away but u need good amount of time. So i ask people about their opinion who spend long time in those instruments. So it will be easy for me to orient in those instruments when i will be looking by my self in to them.

The best part of this thread? It's still active.
The worst part of this thread? "Urs" is never the latest post.

P.s. Then continue to use what u like!!! Why others should suffer of u haveing no wish to learn?!!
If u have many tools it does not mean u have to use them all at ones. The same if u come to Christmas diner table and there are alot of food it does not mean u have to eat it all, but u just have a good choise.
In music if ur tools are more complex more better because u have more choice of tools to express ur art and imagination.
