How to make a bus track in Tracktion>

Hi I am new in Tracktion, I feel it really a cool host for vsti.
But I donot know how to make a bus track in Tracktion,
For examples,I want a reverb bus and in the different track , I send different volum to the bus reverb,
How can I make it?

Rack filters are the way to do this.

You can also use a plugin called senderella. I don't have a link for that.

NiallM and 'Forms were porting some of Mod's stuff to mac.

I don;t know if you were confused or just hijacking the thread but you don't need any of these 3rd party plugs to set up aux sends or aux groups in Tracktion. Racks and the standard track routing options are all that you need.

That may be true, but I asked about Tracktion bussing issues on a separate thread, and the answer I got was that using Senderella avoided the issue of introducing additional per track latency that occurs when using multiple racks (for multiple FX sends) on the same track.

As I understand it, using racks adds a latecy to the audio track, equal to the sound card latency, for each Tracktion RACK configured as a send/return on that particular track.

On the positive side, racks handle PDC and Senderella does not.

The suggestion made to me was to use a combination of the two approaches: Racks for plugs needing PDC, and senderalla for the rest.

Guys, it's way easier than any of that. Each track, when selected, gives you the option of where the track it routed. The default is the Master track but you can send them to any existing track. Just create a track called, let's say, "Drum Buss" and all the drum tracks you route there will play inside the track just like a buss. Then you have to flexibility to compress, EQ and do whatever you want to do to the group. Now, as far as parallel routing to separate busses that requires the racks, AFAIK. I just got the Sonimus Britson "Neve 8014" summing plugin set and it's GREAT on Tracktion. That also gives you group routing flexibility and and really creates the "air" and warmth you expect from an actual analog summing design. It's only $40, too!

Am I correct that in T5/T6 it is not possible in to route one track to two or more other tracks?

sure it is possible!
for every track you can choose the output in the preferences pane (on the bottom of the program in the middle).
there you can choose any track that is in the project. when tracks are named, they will appear with their respective names in the menu.

Actually that is part of what I was looking for but not entirely.
Serial bus is simple by setting the input to another track.
Parallel bus is simple through Rack filter.

But imagine this scenario:
I have content on track one and I want to output it to track two and three with different effects on both. My goal is to have 3 different wave files - uneffected, effect 1 and effect 2. In Ableton Live I would run track one through two send busses and set two tracks to record the returns to end up with my three versions. In Tracktion it seems like I would need to copy the material to each track and render each separately as I can't select a send/return as an input, I can't specify more than one output and I route parallel streams of audio to separate outputs in the rack - unless i'm just not smart enough yet

I think this is what you're after..

1. Create a rack on track one and connect the audio straight through
2. Copy rack to track 2 and 3
3. Add effects to tracks 2 and three
4. Record output of tracks 1 2 and 3 to new tracks (4,5,6), or render them.

Is that it?
