A kind of converter which works for all types of wavetable implementations would be quite difficult. The limited model of AT allows to serve different products.

But indeed I'm making plans for "Audio - Term II". Although not a full featured instrument it will allow to play the editor data with a special vst engine (which already runs well, but is still far from being finished). Unfortunately I know nearly nothing about C++ and realtime synth implementations, so it will take some time (at least some months... ). And most of the code for the editor has to be rewritten (25,000 lines only, but it took some years to make this up ;) ). All this depends on how much free time is available.

The goal was to make the singers be lyrical, with fluent movement.

These use a number of controllers, both automatic and manual.

All the presets are from, "Concentrated" and the additional free add-on.

(minus the drums and violin.)
That's really nice... The vox sound cool. Be sweet for a film score or video game.

Thanks Robmobius,

Your probably right, ..."for a film score or video game".

AND, I would like to see the Tuvan video game released SOON... :)

Hm. Anyone else have download issues? I've tried twice on my PC. First time I got a NSIS error, second time it failed, third time the NSIS error again. Trying it from a Mac now...

I like everything about Serum except the filters, they have a really cold sound to my ears, maybe I've just been spoiled by the Zebra XMF filter and Diva though.

I've been going through the demo again and MAN this thing eats a lot of CPU....and I have a 5930k even. Serum needs a multi-core switch like U-he's Diva.

Unfortunately , this seems to be the way it is with new Vst synths lately. They can be quite taxing on your processor compared to older synths. They may hit the cpu hard depending on what is all being used on the synth parameters. I think a lot of it comes down to voice count , effects running and automated processes.

I remember when Spectrasonics Atmosphere was around and the Omnisphere Update came out. It took awhile for the technology of your average producers computer to be able to run Omnisphere efficiently. That may be the case with the "new breed " of synths being released like Serum , Spire , Diversion , Synthmaster , etc.

I don't get all this talk about cold filters and harshwhatever in Serum, to my ears it can sound extremely warm and organic, it just depends on what tables/waveforms one uses:

Here is an e-bow pad and a lead made from a flautato violin:

Wow . . . the Ebow Pad and Flautato Lead did it . . . .

Just purchased Sonic Tabulator . . . . . .

Nice job Simon . . .and nice playing. . . .

I kept putting it off thinking there would only be maybe a handful of patches I would use from your
library but the list keeps growing and the patches keep getting more useful for me and they sound Awesome !

Thank's man, well I try to keep the balance between ambient/cosmic stuff and playable instruments which I also need/use in my own music. Here is another more cosmic thing, I can't believe some of the sounds I am getting out of this synth, it amazes me to be honest.

Like this demo. Drums and Violin are not Serum?
No, Serum is doing all the rest. :)

Man can not live by one synth alone.... Or can he...?

Hoag's Drone . . . . really nice :)

Also wanted to thank you for Granular Guitars and Granular Symphonies . . . every time I open up
Padshop Pro it's like playing with a new toy again . . . . LoL

Thanks for the flowers, Padshop is another winner, one of the best granular engines out there only rivaled by it's bigger brother HALion 5 and crusherX.

Going from init. When i drop a random wav in OSC, like a synth bass sound. If i then hook up an Env to scrolling through WT position i always get a zipper sound. How can i make the transitions go smooth?

Post

How can i make the transitions go smooth?
Open the WT editor (pencil icon on waveform area) and possible Process->Xfade Edges. This will smooth out any discontinuities from subharmonics within the single-cycles. Then to create the interpolated frames, select either morph->crossfade or morph->spectral.

That's a quick reply! Thanks Steve.

Do i also need to select all the positions of the wavetable then?
