I replied to your post on our forum, letting you know what you should be seeing in the Sounds Download section and some suggestions based on that.

Post

I was told by Paul,to remove my browser's extensions and to clear out my cache, but even then...the downloads were not visible.

However though...I do have another computer and for some reason, the files are present on my second computer and I am downloading the files as I write this! :~)

My other computer had an adware infection that I eliminated,plus...I optimized my computer for my AIR Expansion Bundle and this software uses PACE licensing.
Would any of this be the cause of the problem I am having on my other computer, perhaps?

Post

PACE, shouldn't be a problem that would prevent downloading. It just runs a background service that demands as much priority as it can. My problems with IK software were long before I took a chance in using a PACE product (because they hyped how much they had improved PACE - which they hadn't).

Maybe try another browser and/or download manager?

Post

I opened up the Stand Alone version of ST3 & the audio/midi tab is there, but still does not appear in my DAW version.

Post

1. Simply moving the downloaded parts without unzipping and installing them can't work of course.
2. Audio/midi you change in your DAW for all plugins thats why it's in not there but in the standalone of course.

I would suggest you hire a personal assistant tho' i don't know if one person can fulfil this task. :clown:

You need to unzip and install each part that you downloaded. There's an installer for each of the 8 parts. The Audio/MIDI settings question has been answered correctly already, that is all handled within your DAW. I see your Facebook post about that has also been answered correctly. This community has a lot of knowledgeable people who seem to also be assisting in answering the questions you have, and while I understand you are frustrated I don't believe that the animosity shown toward them is constructive or conducive to further community assistance.

Since this was purchased from Sweetwater, I believe that there may have been some initial instructions that were either less than helpful to you or not sent, based on your experience and questions so far. Could you please let support know in your ticket what you received from them as far as instructions with your order confirmation and serial. Internally, we're already aware of what we show on the User Area as well as any installation & authorization manuals with applications and sound downloads but I will work with our Support Manager to cross-reference what instructions and guidance you have received with a dealer purchase of a digital delivery process for any possible constructive improvement.

Thank you.

Well, my plea for constructive information still stands. Please send the information I requested through your support ticket so I can work on some internal and dealer communication improvements if they are necessary. This would probably be of great help to people in their further purchases of digital delivery products from dealers, and support will be of great help to you with any issues you have going forward with this. Thank you.

"One of the best bread and butter sound modules - hardware or software - that money can buy. Sample Tank 3 is big and beautiful if not particularly bold"
Beat Magazine is a bit less enthusiastic and give ST3 a 4 out of 6 rating (issue 107)

Excuse me, how does it work precisely? I mean: if i take 8 apples out of a basket of 10 the remaining apples are 2. If I take 4 apples out of a basket of 6 the result is always 2 apple left. So, aren't 8/10 and 4/6 similar (identical) rates? Or I am missing smth? :?

Post

Fractions.
4/6 is 66% (approximately)
8/10 is 80%

4 out of 6 is equivalent to 6 2/3 out 10

8 out of 10 is equivalent to 4 4/5 out of 6

Ok. Something like this:
3/6 ............ 4/6 ......5/6....6/6
5/10 6/10 7/10 8/10 9/10 10/10

Sorry, my weakness in math  :dog:
