Ok ok. I will edit, edit edit my posts.

Just for at start, East West - just released Complete Composers Collection 3. There is an upgrade path and it seems like they have lowered prices in general for upgrade and full versions. http://www.soundsonline.com/CCC3-PRO

Yep. Hope it doesn't discourage you too much though, there are occasionally some sensible posts here on KVR :)

JRRShop's Xils sale that is happening right now is pretty incredible IMO. I have Oxium and Xils V+ licenses already. Oxium is definitely a no-brainer at under $60.

I see Xils 4 showed up there now. So I am going to buy one Xils synth, either Xils 4, PolyKB II, or Syn'X (formerly Synthix)... not sure which one to get... first world problems.

Have you seen the offer at dont crack? I don't know if JRR-shop has lowered their prices, but last time I checked this was definently the best deal:

http://store.dontcrack.com/index.php?ma ... rers_id=58

Edit: Ah ok JRR-shop has lowered their price. Now a better deal :-). Remember to go to the blowout-page for even more discount: $57.99 for Oxium: http://blowout.jrrshop.com/

All great synths so you won't choose a bad one :hihi:
That didn't help though so; X4 is a bit more of an experimental synth, great for analogue sqelchiness and FX.
PolyKB is as enigmatic as the original! Dunno what I'm doing half the time but it sounds huge.
Synth'X is just a beast, although a bit more of a 'normal' synth compared to the other two.

Yeah it is a tough choice. I have messed with the demos for all. At one time I thought that I wanted PolyKB II the most, but now it is in third place behind Xils 4 and Syn'X. Too bad there isn't a buy 2 get one free deal.

I got Xils Lab PolyKB II Player from JRRSHOP yesterday.

Priced at $10.40
Using the Discount Code (GROUP) = $8.74

I didn't notice anybody else talking about it, so thought I'd post here.

The PolyKB II Player is much more than a simple player. It's also a fully featured real synth.

It gives you the liberty to fully customize 8 parameters you can select in a big list: Adsr values, Filter Cut Off and resonance, etc -See the complete list of parameters below -

But there's more : These parameters can also receive full automation via midi Cc. Its rather rare to have to automate more than 8 controls in real time for a preset, in addition of all the real times controls already contained in the preset and made available by our Sound Designers ( Ie the original Mod Wheel, After Touch, Velocity, LFO and envelope modulation assignations )

The PolyKB II PLayer also comes with the same acclaimed 250 hi quality preset library than its big brother.

Its also fully compatible with our Analog Bags 1 & 2 Add On soundbanks, as well as with some 3rd party soundsets, so you can extend the original library at a very affordable price. All your custom patches are also saved via your host, and projects using custom patches are saved with all your edits.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
