Sorry, I wasn't ignoring it, I never saw it. No, the DATA was not on an external drive. It's moments of dementia had no rhyme, reason or even consistency to it. It did happen much less once I stripped many of the sound banks from it that I wasn't using anyway. And the program change 'popping' would happen after I stopped playing the last note. Like I said I just found I had to wait longer (a couple of seconds at most) before changing the program. It wasn't a deal breaker for me. I considered that annoying only. (BTW, the sets I used most were yours, Vera's and HG Fortune's.)dnekm wrote:BBFG - you conveniently ignored me... That is okay...
There was a reason I asked if your DATA folder was on an external drive - but, you let that go...
Switching between presets whenever there is sound still playing is just a bad idea, and something I have incorporated into my workflow from the very early times... Again, it is just impatience...
Wusikstation is still a decent instrument, not a dead one as you so frequently say. And it shares the same soundsets with Wusik 4000/8000 - which I am still waiting to see what it turns into.
Consider it "dead, but dreaming", and the Old Ones shall annihilate us all...
Thing is, I didn't click with 4000 character EXCEPT that the program changes did change smooth. Just wish he went back and did the same thing to the Station.
There are people here that have had much worse problems than I did.
My standpoint here is one of deductive logic. EVE is dated and 32 bit.
As William pointed out 8000 is meant to replace 4000 and WusikStation.
8000 is beta. And I remember a promise for the HQ Piano that without notice suddenly became an option to pay for. This type of practices, tell me to wait until he has it all together before even considering a purchase.
If you already have them and they're working for you, great.
My biggest disappointment came from watching William devalue them and making them worthless.
And then pushing the price up and down like an unstable stock market.
For a someone just thinking about buying a Wusik Product the first time, they're better off waiting until he has his projected synth in full release. I would even venture to say it's unwise to be an 'early adopter' on that.
Pardon; If I hadn't seen someone addressing me, It's because KVR can take too much of my playing/recording time if I let it. And some companies (or non-companies) can have that effect too. Even a good synth becomes worthless if we start spending more time getting it to work than working with it.
I'm going to keep repeating this though:
There's an auction you can bid on the full bundle of past and future Wusik products.
And all of your purchase price goes to help a Children's Fund.
If you really want it, that is the best deal you're going to get on it right now.
