Bitwig Studio 1.1 Beta 5

I am just going to drag a copy to my desktop (Mac) and run it from there. Hopefully it won't mess anything up and I can divert back to the tried and proven 1.0.15 for showtime this Thursday. Risky I know. Hmm, should I do it? haha... I'll just backup my "lib/appsupp and prefs", "user/lib/appsupp and prefs" (Mac shorthand for common application dependencies locations)... Aaaahhh, ok, here it goes...

There seems to be some inconsistency since you guys are using the square with the line through it to represent fx in some places but still using the old icon in others.

1.15 isn't working for me now either. I normally dont get upset at software like this but this is just plain stupid.
Do you think its OS X 10.10? or Bitwig itself? or what?? Can someone give some insight to this, I've already sent a bug report to Tech Support about the 1.1 BETA 5..

Nice find Ogopogo
I am wondering if there is anything we need to put in the subject for Beta bug reports, to make life easier for logging bugs. Also do they prefer a single report with lots of bugs or a new report for each bug. I don't want to cause them any unnecessary work.

It shows the beta as 'Bitwig Studio 1.1 Beta' on my account, but Beta 5 when installed if that helpstimothyallan wrote:I don't see it in my account?? I see Bitwig Studio 1.0 and Bitwig Studio 1.0 Beta 12

Nah, no mention of 1.1 anywhere. I'll shoot them a quick email... it's supposed to be public yeah? Or is it only a select group still?

I'm sure I read someone mention the next beta (this one I assume) was for all license holders.timothyallan wrote:Nah, no mention of 1.1 anywhere. I'll shoot them a quick email... it's supposed to be public yeah? Or is it only a select group still?

On my Win 8.1 Pro computer both 1.0.15 and Beta 5 worked (installed on 2 separate folders) but you can't run them concurrently of course.TristanMendoza wrote:1.15 isn't working for me now either. I normally dont get upset at software like this but this is just plain stupid.

Maybe its just OS X 10.10 because I had 1.14 installed already when I updated my mac and it worked fine, but with new installs of Bitwig I dont think its working properly, I tried using the 1.1 BETA and the audio engine would never load up, so I tried going back down to 1.15 and it has the same problem. Im considering going back to OS X 10.9c-wave wrote:On my Win 8.1 Pro computer both 1.0.15 and Beta 5 worked (installed on 2 separate folders) but you can't run them concurrently of course.TristanMendoza wrote:1.15 isn't working for me now either.
