U-He Physical Modeling?

I know you guys have Zebra, but I was looking for a Sculpture replacement now that I'm off logic. There are a few out there, but they tend to miss the mark (my mark anyway).
Sculpture's awesome because it's easy and fast to use an external controller and tweak a sound from 'it sound sounds like a kalimba' to 'it sounds like hundreds of ethane vents boiling in a hydrocarbon sea', and it's always organic.
Even if Kaivo, AAS et.al did it for me, I'd rather have an U-He plugin. You guys just know how to build stuff.

Sure, it crosses my mind every now and then… hehehe, as does a drum machine, a sampler or even a rompler
However, pretty much every resource we have will go into Zebra3 and some makeovers before we'll start anything new. The interesting point is, we'll revisit/improve Physical Modeling in Zebra3!

Zebra is actually really great for physical modeling!
You just have to figure a good way to approach it.
It takes knowing Zebra inside/out and a lot of experimentation.
There's no doubt that Zebra 3 will actually compete with physical modeling instruments out there. (even the current version can do that IMO)

I agree. Some of the patches I've heard sound incredible - especially some brass emulations and pseudo-ethnic instruments.3ee wrote:Zebra is actually really great for physical modeling!
