I like orange, it is the main reason why I chose Bitwig. Many others are kind of blue-ish which isn't orange, so I didn't choose those. I chose Bitwig because, you know, its orange :D

@Lol I also bought Bitwig because it looks great. And, obviously, because I could learn it right from the first release. However, if you right-click the Bitwig button, a palette pops up but it isn't related to the button itself. Unfortunately ;)

Not to worry, they fixed it in the beta... right clicking the Bitwig button doesn't do anything now :)

I am pretty positive that eventually Bitwig will open up their themeing system. They DO use a theme setup, so it is only a matter of time.

But, I like orange and black. :)

It would be nice if we could have the original orange and black logo as a splash screen when it fires up. I like the simplicity of it. The roundy roundy red one makes me dizzy just looking at it. :)

I think the Bitwig color palette is good, but I would like to see the items on the arrange a bit more translucent.

Ok, here are my top three feature requests (and I'm quite sure the first two could give Bitwig another advantage over competetive DAWs)

- Versioning. I'd like to have incremental backups of my project. No more project states that in fact need to be saved to different projects. For the beginning, some kind of history panel with self defined save points would do. More GIT oriented approaches would of course be welcome, too. Absolutely awesome would be reverting individual clips/tracks/whatever to previous saved states.
- Snippet Storage. I'd like to store clips with automation in a separate storage place, that I can access not only from anywhere in the project, but also throughout different projects.
- I'd love to see the Arranger grid colors being inverted, that means a darker background. But this is a minor issue.

:D thanx for reading!

-step recording
-one-click loop playbacking of a selected region/midi notes as is in AL
-piano roll: walking on the notes with cursor keys (should be grid/midi notes based as is in Ableton Live)
-groove pool and tons of midi note modifier as is the PR tool menu of FL
-playback-scrub tool from FL / Cubase

+ReWire (not so important)

You can do this, no? Just drag a clip out to the browser. When you drag it back into a project it will automatically recreate the track that it was made on unless you drag it into a preexisting track. The clips category of the browser was made specifically to give you a place to store clips.

Thanx! So that's off my list :tu:
