Anyone else still having trouble with effects tracks sounding whilst soloing? I was under the impression it had been fixed but doesn't seem to be on my system. Once that's fixed will finally be able to use reference tracks on individual audio tracks routed directly to monitors (bypassing Master channel), which is a big win for me as MagicAB doesn't seem to play too nice with Bitwig.
In general though, fantastic job guys. The Note Mod device is a revolution in itself, the possibilities are endless.

How do we hide/remove unused output tracks with the multi-outs? I'm only use one second output, yet my mixer and device shows all 16 of a VST. I don't want to see all those but can't find a way to hide them. There should really be a setting for which ones to enable or show. This plus the need for mono outs are currently hampering this nice feature.

You can deactivate them and choose the option to hide all deactivated tracks:Echoes in the Attic wrote:How do we hide/remove unused output tracks with the multi-outs? 1. In the mixer view, unfold the track with the multiout-VST on it.
2. Then STRG-select (I already wrote a feature request for SHIFT-selection) all VST-chains which you don't want to use.
3. Right click -> Deactivate Chain.
4. Now make sure that you hide all deactivated tracks (the cross symbol at the right of the mixer view).

Ah, that's what I forgot about. Thanks! However shouldn't the deactivated channels also be removed from the device view after this? They are still listed there.u-u-u wrote: 4. Now make sure that you hide all deactivated tracks (the cross symbol at the right of the mixer view).
And yeah shift+click is definitely needed.

I just realized the Note Mod allows me to have velocity sensitivity for NI Monark. Nice!

HI,
How can I change the midi channel to be sent to a multi-out vst?
Ie. I put a multi-out VST on one track (e.g. Kontakt or Vienna Ensemble Pro etc) and then route different channels to it - how do I set it so that different tracks send MIDI on different channels to the multi out VST?
In essence most multiout vsts differentiate between the different instruments within it via midi channels.

On your second instrument track, open the output-chooser dropdown and select Plugins -> Kontakt. After that, a number will show up in the output selector, which is the channel on which this track should send Midi. Set this to your wanted channel.
Repeat for every channel you want to address separately.
Cheers,
Tom
