sample rate wont stay locked

I was initially all happy and stuff about Tracktion, but then this keeps happening.

The sample rate sometimes changes, seemingly apropos of nothing. Settings reports 44100 (unchanged). Affects all wf playback, as well as master output.

I can clear the problem by selecting a different rate, then reselecting the correct one. I've never seen it happen *while* the sequencer is playing, or *while* e-to-e is enabled.

ASIO Direct Mode is disabled. I tried enabling this, but problem still occurred.

Didn't have any such problems under GTP3, so prolly not the Indigo driver.
