Well, if you think Serum sounds better than a Microwave I or II, then your ears, while not "full of shit," are certainly not attuned to what sounds musical and organic. Probably raised on EDM...Sampleconstruct wrote:Exactly, all our ears are full of shit, your's are made of gold.

I have nothing to do with EDM whatsoever, don't judge Serum on the factory presets, import your own wavetables, resynthesize acoustic instrument samples with it, invest some time in the wavetable morphing and then judge again, your current verdict is simply wrong.Gadget Fiend wrote:Well, if you think Serum sounds better than a Microwave I or II, then your ears, while not "full of shit," are certainly not attuned to what sounds musical and organic. Thanks man, yeah I just invented this 600 oscillator supersaw sound, everything in my environment got instantly nuked, the entire population of the suburb I live at is now suffering from Tinnitus.paterpeter wrote:Too busy making EDM, eh?Sampleconstruct wrote:Won't do.

It's somewhere on his list, as it has been requested a few times and he seems open to the idea. But if or when this will happen is something nobody knows. Might take a while.blackflag wrote:Anyone know if Steve is planning on adding more reverb options?

OK actually I do have another one, sorry for just coming across this now but I haven't really had time before to explore the drawing editor but why is it not possible to just freely draw a line? I don't like being confined to a bunch of preset line shapes, it's very clumsy and makes it very hard for me to get what I want. Ideally it would be great if as well as totally free drawing there was a bezier curve type for when you need more precision.aMUSEd wrote:Oh yeah, that's pretty much all my FR's in one go! - most excellent, thanksbitcrusher wrote:Just a quick note v1.02 beta is now up for reg'd users with

Actually, you can. Set the raster to 0/0 (numbers in the lower right corner in the editor). Then there basically is no raster anymore and you can use the line tools to freely draw a waveform.aMUSEd wrote:OK actually I do have another one, sorry for just coming across this now but I haven't really had time before to explore the drawing editor but why is it not possible to just freely draw a line? If this satisfies your needs, may I be so bold to exchange your FR for another?
I'd like to be able to cycle through the assigned modulators on a parameter. For instance by cntrl clicking on the modulation graphic around a modulated knob. If Env1 and LFO2 are assigned to this knob, it would then show these, alternating with each click. I find myself struggling to find out which modulator is affecting a knob from time to time. (and yeah, I know, it's in the text popups as well...)
EDIT: oops, I failed to see the bezier request. That's not possible to my knowledge. It is a good idea though!

Thanks that's useful to know - much better! Beziers like in the lfo envelope editor would be cool too though.

I really hope he does, I'm having a difficult time making good atmosphere and pad sounds with the current reverb, it sounds very metallic.BDeep wrote:It's somewhere on his list, as it has been requested a few times and he seems open to the idea.
