I hope it is.Howard wrote:(still off topic)
Of course the plan is to make Presswerk "clearly better than the rest". Got to have goals...
Goals are fine, but actually achieving them and living up to commitments is often another matter.
Maybe there's a little too much focus on these "low hanging fruits" Urs mentions no fewer than three times in one post.
Achieving "lofty goals" might require some tree climbing to get to the sweetest and less "competed for" fruit.
That was pretty pretentious, huh?
Actually, my greatest successes have have come from failing goals and plans and discovering/creating something better than I had conceived.
Try that.
In the meantime, also try to throw us a UHBIK bone or two while you're at it.
You know you want to.
(please leave a donation on your way out and don't let the door hit you in the... well, you know)

The thing about Uhbiks is that hey cover the basics extremely well, with a few novel twists. Also with very low CPU hit. They are meant to be just that. Bearing in mind that is their skill set what would you like a new one to be. Usually the answer is a much more advanced plugin which ultimately take up the time that probably should be directed toward Zebra 3 at this point.
In saying this I only discovered them recently so I am more enthused by them than initial adopters possibly. The fact that on modern computers you can really stack them up to have very complex fx chains with a minimal CPU hit, is the key to their continuing success.

I did notice recently when mapping parameters in Live and Maschine that there are some parameters missing from each Uhbik... don't know if it's possible to make these all available in a potential update but it would be good if they could.

That would be great Urs... with my day job (graphic designer) involving using a mouse/input device for hours on end I'm trying to get away from using those whilst making music as much as possible!Urs wrote:Yeah, we might be… we'll see!taoyoyo wrote:I did notice recently when mapping parameters in Live and Maschine that there are some parameters missing from each Uhbik... don't know if it's possible to make these all available in a potential update but it would be good if they could.
Thanks for the reply and I'll keep my fingers crossed.
