Hi,
I've installed the Galbanum waveforms in "wav24" format, but SynthMaster is giving me problems.
- On first load, old files were still visible in the waveform menu
- On first load, several folders were emtpy
- I then split a large folder in two (Classic - Saw Filtered and Classic - Saw Filtered 2), reasoning that there might be a limit to the number of files per folder
- On second load, all files then appeared in the first folder, the second one was empty
- On third load, the second folder had disappeared from the list.
- On third load, not all files from another folder were loaded. From the 255 in that folder, the first 5 were dropped.
- All the files I tried, show up as a flat line in the oscillator view, while opening them with Audicity shows they have content.
Also:
- Folder names are truncated; this might explain the merging
- File names are truncated at the first dot; that should be: at the last dot, if you want to drop the extension.
Version 2.6.20 on OSX 10.10.

1) please update to v2.6.21:
http://www.synthmaster.com/downloadfile.aspx?fileId=53
2) please delete
/Users/Shared/SynthMasterTemp
folder (the installer does this but just in case)
Rerun your DAW

A solution would be perhaps that the plugin deletes itself the content at the moment of the opening, so that each session begins systematically with a temp folder always empty. And it would resolve also the persistence of temp files in case of crash at the previous session (whatever the reason of the crash, including reasons coming from the DAW or anything else).FLWrd wrote:That worked. Thanks. Is deleting SynthMasterTemp the thing to do, when this problem returns?

Temp files ARE necessary, they speed up loading wavetable data.
(as opposed to calculating them each time a preset is loaded, loading from disk is a lot faster)
