What album do you have most copies of in your collection?

Probably Beatle albums and CDs. Since I was 11, I've owned more copies than I can count of 'Revolver.'

...and now the SW remixes are available. I just got hold of Fracture and 3OAPP from the KC 2014 Tour Box. I'll have to schedule a 4-way comparison in the next couple of weeks.mellotronaut wrote:i have 4 copies of several King Crimson albums: Vinyl; original cd; 30st anniversary blabla and 40th anniversary lala. i feel so fripped out.

Ladies & gentlemen, I am a hardcore r&B & soul fan:
Tupac (Strictly 4 My NIGGAZ), but it end up being stolen all 3 times back in high school. 2 tapes, 1 CD
Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life on Vinyl & CD
Funkadelic (One Nation Under A Groove) Vinyl & CD
Ice Cube (Predator), bought the CD twicem 1 just got old
Portishead (Dummy), I copied a friend's version then bought my own
Outkast (Southernplayalisticcadillacmusik) Bought 2 CDs cause I wore the 1st out
Raekwon (Only Built for Cuban Lynx) Bought the CD 3x cause I wore it out so much
Erykah Badu (Baduizm) Bought 2x, 1 for me and 1 for my Mom
Joe Sample (Rainbow Seeker) Vinyl & CD
The Pharcyde (Bizarre Ryde II) Bought 2 CDs
Busta Rhymes (When Disaster Strikes) Bought 2 CDs
Herbie Hancock (Headhunters) 2 CDs
& Sade (Best of Sade).... I literally memorized every song on that one & had to purchase the CD again because I wore it out so much.
Spent WAY too much money on music when I was younger! Me & my brother (he had about 80% of our collection) had about 600 CDs & 100 tapes from 1990-2003.

FYI, just read in this week's Entertainment Magazine that DSOTM still sells a reliable 7,000 to 8,000 copies a week.BERFAB wrote:Glad I'm not the only one.Pacific05 wrote:"The dark side of the moon" here again.chaosWyrM wrote:i have 4 copies of dark side of the moon.
tape, vinyl, cd, and the remastered gold cd.
i dont even have a tape player or turntable anymore.
I have 3 copies: 2 vinyls (1973 and 1988) and the remastered "Dark side of the moon" cd edition. They're gifts, though.
The only album I've bought two times is "Off The Wall" by Michael Jackson because someone stole my first copy during a party...
I've bought a few copies, but I'm not sure I still have them all. I had the LP from the 70's, and I've purchased the CD a few times. Thankfully, Spotify now has all the various editions, as well as a few "tribute" versions which I also find interesting (Dub Side of the Moon being my favorite).
