Sorry my fault then, its really very kind of you.. ..but where do i know that the tax is separately from the sale price and not already included? Especially with MF i bought from them online in the past i saw the sale price is well.. ..the sale price which included the tax.

Update - the person on the MF chat help sent me a screen shot of the email that they tried to send to me. So I have a serial number now. I won't be able to try it until after work, though.

Congratulations! There must be some kind of issue with some email providers filtering their emails out or at least the ones with the serials. Or MF maybe has a faulty system.Gribs wrote:Update - the person on the MF chat help sent me a screen shot of the email that they tried to send to me. So I have a serial number now. I really would love to get Artillery 2 for just $29
I just don't get how they can manage such low prices, it costs $199 buying from Sugar Bytes.
Even at the Halloween sale, the cheapest deal was like 80 bucks to get it.

I don't mind you getting a little out of it for your effort. This is an honest way to do business / do people a favor.Ciberithm wrote:I am going to GC this afternoon, and they have the same deals as MF. If anyone wants one of these specials, I can pick it up for them. I would ask you to prepay the sale price + 15% to cover sales tax and Paypal fees.

Sometimes they can make individual group deals with developers if they purchase enough licenses. Sometimes they have something physically in stock they want out of the shop. Maybe they call the developers to ask for a sale price to get rid of them. They do that here at least.Numanoid wrote:I really would love to get Artillery 2 for just $29

Me too, but I live in Holland. Do you think it's safe to pull the "hotel in US adress" trick and receive the serial in my inbox?Hans25 wrote:Sometimes they can make individual group deals with developers if they purchase enough licenses. Yes why not? If it's a download then who cares?PatricB wrote:Me too, but I live in Holland. Do you think it's safe to pull the "hotel in US adress" trick and receive the serial in my inbox?

No worries - just a misunderstanding. In the US, when you buy online, you don't pay tax UNLESS the seller has a physical presence in the state in which you live. Even if I buy online from GC, I have to pay tax. If I buy from MF, I do not pay tax. I am getting these from the store, not online, hence the sales tax.valerian_777 wrote:Sorry my fault then, its really very kind of you.. ..but where do i know that the tax is separately from the sale price and not already included? Anybody taking the risk? It's real money, even when it's cheap, and not the 99cents spark...

Regarding the MF and GC deals on SugarBytes software, these are boxed versions, but the boxes only contain a serial number. If you purchase online, they will send a box with a serial number to the address you use on the order.Hans25 wrote:Yes why not? As Ciberithm writes remember that these are BOXED. NOT downloadable serials. The Arturia Dubstep was a download. This is not a download. You have to go with Ciberithm's kind offer.PatricB wrote:Thanks!
