The chat person told me that he was sending the screen shot "manually". This suggests that there might be a problem with an automated system.Hans25 wrote:Congratulations! There must be some kind of issue with some email providers filtering their emails out or at least the ones with the serials. Or MF maybe has a faulty system.Gribs wrote:Update - the person on the MF chat help sent me a screen shot of the email that they tried to send to me. So I have a serial number now. I won't be able to try it until after work, though.

I have issue rceiving email from MF too.. but only specific types of email -- mainly digital download and order completed email.
I have no trouble receiving their spam email though.
Last time I ordered something from MF with a digital download, after the live chat rep tried sending to a couple different email addresses I have (with the same result - no email message recieved from them), they simply confirmed I was who I said I was and gave me the serial over the chat session.
Somewhat pleasing to know it isn't just me, but it seems more of a MF issue that now hopefully they will correct.

Ok, ordered artillery. Forgot I have an old friend at the states
Seems they indeed send a package there since I got to choose the postal service.

More drama with the Spark Dubstep download activation!
First, the Arturia web site told me the activation failed. I looked at my registered products to check, and there was Spark Dubstep listed as registered to me with the license number and unlock code that I got from MF (I have a few other Arturia software products registered on my account). Well that is weird. An activation code was waiting for me, and about 10 seconds later an email arrived with the activation code. Well, the eLicenser activation code that they sent was missing a character. It should have 8 groups of 4 characters, and there were only 3 characters in my last group. Out of curiosity and before sending of a support request to Arturia and their notoriously bad support, I typed random characters and after just 3 tries got a valid Arturia Spark Dubstep activation code. So I contacted support, told them the issue, told them what I did, and told them that if what I did is not okay then would they please send a valid activation code.

Gribs, same thing happened to me just now, bruteforced it until I found the missing character. I doubt it will collide with anyone elses, but hopefully Arturia will be able to clean up the mess.

Haha I had this same exact issue. I just went through each of the characters A-Z then 0-9 until one worked (it was 1 if anyone cares)Hans25 wrote: Oh my God. I only have 3 characters there too!. Havent tried to activate it yet. Someone made a mess somehow. That's why it was 99 cents. You have to guess the last unlock character. Thanks for the tip.

Wow, that was fast. Arturia got back to me with an apology and a new registration code. Plus one for Arturia!
There must be a bug in their code-generating software.

It took Arturia a week and a half to give me an activation code that worked properly when I bought my Spark 2 brand spanking new off of Amazon.Gribs wrote:Wow, that was fast. Arturia got back to me with an apology and a new registration code. Plus one for Arturia!

They eventually ended up having to send me a code manually. Their entire activation system is messed up right now IMO.

After 3 emails from MF I now a confirmation, a short email with link to download Spark and then a more detailed email with steps on how to download it, but somehow a serial number was never included in any of the emails. I guess I'll have to see if I can get hold of their chat when they open.

Check in your spam and trash folders. I couldn't find mine either... It's from noreply@musicianfriend.com with the title "Congratulations, your new serial number/software key has arrived"Armadillo wrote:After 3 emails from MF I now a confirmation, a short email with link to download Spark and then a more detailed email with steps on how to download it, but somehow a serial number was never included in any of the emails.
