Ah, didn't see that with the MK1 modifications.

Regarding enter as shift: I'm fine with enter, i think i like it even more than group "D".
I also thought about saving the currently unused group buttons for things very often used in the end, maybe to switch or toggle between track and device mode quickly without shifting, looks like that will be 90% of the mode switches for me in the end.
Another handy thing would be toggling the device panel to edit panel and back, without going through mix/arr/edit cycling...

Ok, the group buttons are blank until we figure out the best use case for them. I totally agree and I am sure you are aware, my coding this monster, I have tunnel vision with the usability aspect right now, so its great you are helping and involved!

Use the Studio! HAHA Just kidding, so what do you propose [SHIFT + SAMPLING] toggles between EDIT and the last perspective used that is not EDIT?

Ok. I understand. Shift and Jog don't work on my Yosemite Laptop. Also I get micro glitches on few params knobs (likely script is not relevant to this).
On Mavericks shift (A) is fine, but Jog (number 88) still don't work.

Ok, I am trying to figure out why the Group A button is not acting as a SHIFT for you. And the jog wheel far left knob is set to MIDI 80, so I don't get why it's not working for you, I am sorry about that. :scared:

The maschine studio is too big for a backpack :)
But no, i don't mean changing the perspective (that would be arr, mix or edit) - what i constantly do when working is just staying on arr or mix view but permanently switching between device view end edit view in the lower panel.

But the fine polishing of the workflow will be something we have to do in the end again anyway, i guess we can first concentrate to get the main functionality to fit the overall machine specs and then shuffle around a few things regarding the navigation....

Matched individual pad coloring now on the controller and the drum machine in beta9 looks gorgeous!

I got the exists property working so unassigned pads are not lit, still waiting for paging and selection observers. ;-)

PS I need to test if I can actually select a drum pad from the controller, I haven't tried that yet.

I expect you to test that good, i think there is one slight bug when you press [NAVIGATE] sometimes where it doesn't show the default device bank, don't know my head is swimming from that one, took 3 hours. :)

Basically this feature allows you to in the project preferences set which "Device Bank" you want to act as the DeviceMode.

Dom said he likes to see Macro first, so that is the default now, so when you hit [NAVIGATE + Pad 13] it will show Macro mode instead of the older Device which would take you to the first device page.

Anyway, I think that's a kewl feature. :)

BTW, I found one bug in the MK2 template, update it if you use the MK2.

Hey, i think that's a good idea with the Bank Mode Default.
What was the bug with the MK2? Have not checked the changes yet, busy with the main app :)

I expected you to try it out when you had a beer or something in your hand, don't make me look like that! :)

The template bug was a wrong CC in the [GRID] button (not used yet).

I just fixed the other one with the modes, it was not initializing (new project, open project) in the selected device bank. it's fixed in the 0.1.3 release I am doing.
