Greetings :)

Initalizing a Zebra2(x64) instance (track), immidiatly upon playing any of the patches, the first several notes hold and do not release untill i change a patch or delete the track. I do know it gets wonky after a little bit of playing. However, I cannot currently guage any of the sounds or interactions.

History:
I downloaded 2.7 demo in May looking for additional sounds. If i remember correctly, notes in the demo mode did not hold back then. I am revisiting Zebra (Dark Zebra). Note: Cubase was updated since then.

System:
Win7 Pro 64
32GB DDR3 RAM
i7-4790K Haswell Quad-Core / 8 Thread
Cubase Artist 7.5.30 (build 243) - This was updated from 7.5.2 after Zebra Demo was originally installed
Axiom 61 Mk2 controller (i know it's not the best - i will get something differnet down the road)

Observation:
I wanted to check in here to see if there is a known issue with my setup, or if i should reinstall Zebra. If i need to reinstall, do i just reinstall over the existing or do i need to uninstall first, Ect...

Thank you.
Ed :)

That's a new one to me and it sounds like no fun. I've never experienced the problem you're describing. Since you're demoing I recommend uninstalling and deleting all the old files and then re-installing the latest released version found here:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=419732

While it is more "beta" than what is on u-he.com there are quite a few fixes and enhancements over the latest release that I think are worth it.

If that doesn't work after you do the full re-install you should send an email to support [at] u-he [dot] com and they should be able to guide you through the debug.

Good luck!

- Did a full wipe per [http://www.u-he.com/cms/faqs#how-can-i- ... he-plugins (http://www.u-he.com/cms/faqs#how-can-i-uninstall-u-he-plugins)] as well as searched for and deleted all zebra related files (i.e. 'Zebra2.data' on source drive).
- Launched Cubase to make sure there werwe no residules of Zebra and closed Cubase.
- Reinstalled from Zebra22709Win.zip
- Initialzed new Zebra2(x64) track with default patch.
- Started to play and the 2nd and 3rd notes in stuck again. Went to next patch (HS Animated Bells) and the first few notes held. Changed program to stop the notes. Deleted track.

- i will email support.

Thank you.

yup. the problem is pervasive with Cubase 7.5.xx ... MIDI duplexing by windows.
deactivate Windows MIDI ... check Timestamp ...
hopefully steinberg addresses this with Cubase 8
