but the playhead is not set to loop start, so that would be great. ;)

That's true. :)

I generally just click on a clip, which does move the play head to the beginning of the clip.

yea that is already helpful. But when selecting a bunch of clips and set the looprange to them, the playhead doesn`t follow.

One then needs to select the first clip again. Would just be a workflow improvement when the playhead automatically is set to the start of the looprange and ideally automatically starts.

so this one:

+1 (again)

selecting a region with the time selector then playing it with ctrl+space as is in AL (the clip based one is uncomfortable IMO )

I agree that it would be a nice improvement. I know its been discussed before and I would like to see some improvements. Moving the playhead to start of loop when you create it would be useful. Also a shortcut to start playing from the beginning of the loop would be lovely to see, we already have alt+p to play from start of file.

i prefer the clip base selection and automatic start with just one shortcut. So one doesn`t have to select another tool first.

time selection already can move the playhead just it can't play back the selected time-range looped, so it's almost good for me, ofc. good question why BWS needs dedicated time selector anyway

AL do it nicely, a selected region can be played back independently from the playhead with ctrl+space

and AL hasn't got time selector tool

Maybe their flux capacitor wont run without it ?

From my own experience the time selection tool is handy for selecting multiple clips, when the keyboard is in midi mode, and the clips are surrounded by other clips. Most keys and modifier keys (even for the mouse) are nerfed when the keyboard is in midi mode.

When working in the clip launcher, this is possible now. Dragging the loop bar automagically adapts the start and stop markers.

So get .1 Up!
