Hopefully, Zebra 2, after a long reign as king of soft-synths, will soon be dethroned...by Z III.
Yes! can't wait ZIII

I really want to hear Hive. It sounds like they fixed everything I dislike about sylenth. Not to say that I totally dislike it, but it's not my favorite.

1 - Debrilla
2 - A.Z.E.
3 - FiltivaBaceZD
4 - Bazivra
5 - Z Dilla Cape

Post

1. Zebra, Bazille, Diva, ACE
2, 3, 4: I guess U-he will just have to make more synths to fill these slots.

Post

1. Zebra/ZebraHZ
2. Diva
3. Bazille (I have been using it a lot recently because it is something new)
4. Podolski
You can hear my original music at this link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... dID=224436

Post

1. Diva (Wow, I mean just wow, how can you not like it)
2. Zebra2 (Flexible and easy to use, limitless possibilities)
3. Bazille (I'm still not comfortable with this one yet)
4. ACE (the only one I don't own)

I use U-he synths 80% of the time now. I only hit up Alchemy for the occasional soundscape or pad (at which it really excels).

My Ranking:

1. Diva (own it)
2. Zebra (own it)
3. Hive (maybe buy it)
4. Ace (if you own Zebra you don't need it)
5. Bazille (never buy it, sound is terrible)

Sorry, but that statement is just not so... ACE can do all sorts of stuff Zebra cannot...

Judging by all posts, the real answer is:

1st: Diva, Zebra (all versions), Ace, Bazille, Hive, [name of future u-he vsti's]

2nd: there is no such thing

:hihi:

I cannot rank them as they all excel at what they're built for, and it would be comparing apples and oranges.

Though not to be a stick in the mud, I'll state my favourites, as I enjoy using these two more than anything else in the world of sound:

Bazille and Zebra.

Post

DIVA
Hive
Bazille
Zebra

I like the simplicity of DIVA and I like character. Diva is the easiest to learn on.

Yes, as for now Hive is definitely harder to learn on because it doesn't exist yet. I guess, this is why you placed it second? :)
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try
