I dont know why it crashes but I doubt it is MuLab.
I have a lot of rex files and it works fine.
That being said I reported a few loops to Jo and he told me
it is because there is markers placed so close that it can crash
the D.A.W.
He said there would be a correction/solution in the next
update.
Are you sure you dont have some plugins loaded that cause
the problem ? Or corrupted files in your MuLab ?
It sounds strange that it is so many rex files !
Sorry that I couldn't be of more help other than maybe load
a new blank session and see what happens.
If it still crashes I would suggest that you download MuLab again
and reinstall.
Cheers

The forthcoming new M6.1 has improved protection against exceptional/wrong REX files. Maybe that will help. A M6.1 test version will be available in about 2 weeks.

It would be nice if you would change the topic of this thread to "mulab not stable with some REX files" or something. Now it looks like MuLab is not stable at all (for new people that only skim through the headlines in the forum), which is somewhat misleading because in fact it is a VERY stable piece of software all around

You can try the new M6.1 test version in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/forsythia
Put the M6.1 app/exe + ID files on top of an existing M6.0.35 installation.
Please carefully test whether this version fixes those REX problems you encountered and let me know.
Note that sessions/presets saved with this M6.1 test version are not downwards compatible with M6.0.35.

Does it also crash if you use a completely clean 6.0.35 install just replacing the exe and ID?runaudio wrote:it crashed twice inside 20 mins

Yes cfr pljones: First of all pls make sure you have a solid M6.1.17 install.
Did you install M6.1.17 upon M6.0.35?
Then if you encounter a crash pls describe the crash conditions in most detail.
Is it still when using some specific REX loops? (eventhough this new M6.1.17 version makes a difference on sbj's computer)

You have not said you started with a completely fresh install and then just added the two files. Is that the case?
