Heay guys, I was wondering if there might be a way to implement a brainwave generator type extension into mutools. Something similar to Gnaural.

What is the structural integrity of a compound when it is broken down to its wave form?
The same as everything else that surrounds it.

I'm sorry but i don't have the time to dive into that specialized topic but anyway trying to help: Can you translate that topic into what you exactly want to do with MuLab / MUX? If you have concrete MuLab / MUX questions i might be able to help.

Actually I would like some help with something. Is there a scripting section of mulabs. Something that I might be able to model real instruments (within specific frequencies) from.

LunaTech, I looked at the Gnaural website. It seems the idea is to have the same waveform into both sides of your headphones, but to slightly vary the frequency into one ear to meditate your brain. MuLab is the perfect host for such experiments. First, set up two tracks of MuSynth with one & the same oscillator and no filter, with each panned to a different ear. I suggest a square wave (Block50) OSC for clarity. Change the FTUN slightly into one ear. Pick the same MIDI note for both tracks and create a lonnng loop (to retrigger less often and let phasing develop). Hit play and adjust levels so perceived loudness is the same. You can also try changing the LFO or Pitch Mod in one ear etc to give your brain a bigger workout. You can do similar with a beautiful sample in MuSampla, or with MuDrum (a la Steve Reich).

Thank you guys. That sounds like a great way to go about what I am trying to do Michael L.

Another way using only one Instrument: Load the same waveform or sample into each MuPad Element using the browser. Loop Forward. PAN one right, one left. Choose a midi note/frequency and mess with the XPS and FTN or... create a track to modulate either, edit the sample, etc. Binaural Beatz!

You can use the free ValhallaFreqEcho to create this type of effect. Check out this interesting blog post about the subject : http://valhalladsp.wordpress.com/catego ... l-beats-2/
