Some updates;

* Added [`SCENE`] toggle between Clip and Scene launcher (currently a scene HAS TO BE NAMED to show up, exists observer doesn't fire), limit of 16 until bank paging is enabled.
* Fixed [`BROWSE`] should work in all Device bank modes Issue #11
* Fixed Switch device [`SELECT`] to [`D + SELECT`] Issue #15
* Added [`D + SELECT`] TrackView and TrackViewMode to select, prototype idea.
* Added [`F1-F8`] In VolumeMode, toggles track mute.
* Added [`SELECT + F1-F8`] In VolumeMode, selects the track.
* Added [`F4`] In TrackMode, toggles monitor.
* Added [`F8`] In TrackMode, Enhanced with dual top row display toggle to switch between button and knob labels.
* Fixed StepSequencerView step layout to mirror Maschine's bottom to top layout.

DrumView paging is still broken due to an API bug.

Major change -> Switch device [`SELECT`] to [`D + SELECT`] Issue #15

[SELECT] now selects tracks from the pads and can page the track bank with PAD 15, 16.
[D + SELECT] was the former selection with selecting device banks.

[SCENE] now toggles between Clip and Scene trigger view.

Scene trigger view has no paging right now so it's 16 scenes to trigger from the pads. Also, Scene.exists() observer is broken in the API so the only way I know if a scene ecists is if you explicitly name it, if you name it, it will show up.

Some fun and style updates to the scripts;

* Updated DrumView colors, dim and playing to bright.
* Updated DrumView mute and solo state colors to mirror Maschine style lights dim/bright.
* Changed [`PAD_MODE`] now toggled between PlayView and DrumView.
* Added [`MUTE`] In DrumView, toggles the channel's mute.
* Added [`SOLO`] In DrumView, toggles the channel's solo.
* Updated [`SCENE`] and [`PATTERN`] for scene or clip trigger view.
* Long press updates the display with scenes or clip names.

You can now press [MUTE], [SOLO] in DrumView (double press [PAD_MODE]) to mute and solo drum channels Maschine lighting style.

[SCENE] now triggers scene clips, press and hold [SCENE] for scene names (must be explicitly named to show up).
[PATTERN] now triggers pattern clips, press and hold [PATTERN] for clip names (must be explicitly named to show up).

In [PATTERN] (ClipTriggerView) F1-F4 mute the 4 tracks shown in the scenebank, F5-F8 toggle recarm of the 4 tracks in the scene bank.

Danny, let me try and get you a comprehensive list of buttons, mode and view assignments. I will get a hold of you with it in the next day or so. I think there might be a couple things with devices and transport you maybe aren't aware that work.

When you do your work flow, make sure to say its alpha and i am still waiting on some bugs to be fixed by Bitwig to get some correct functionality, e.g the Scene name problem is an example.

Hi,

Just released another stable version 0.1.4 that works with RC1 and has all the general button functions documented here;

The [`NAVIGATE`] selection was switched in layout to correspond to the Maschine's bottom to top layout.

One other nice change is now in Device Mode, the jog wheel pages next/previous banks without the [SHIFT] button.

Anything on the WIKI page above is not going to change now unless there are serious usability issues that arise. There are more features that are not documented on that page for the specific reasons that they might change, so no need to confuse people.

Firstly I just want to say a huge thanks for this, everythings working great except for a couple of things.

1st and this is probably something I`m doing wrong, I can't get the parameter control stuff up on the maschine mk2. I press the BROWSE button and it just gives me the macro screen, nothing I do brings up the parameter editor.

2nd is when in pad mode, when I press a pad more than one light up.
Again, this is probably something I`m doing wrong myself.

I`m on osx yosemite with machine mk2 if that makes any difference.

1. There is the idea of "Parameter Banks", so you are in Parameter Bank Macro by default. If you want to change this to Device, open the I/O panel on the right, click open the MK2 settings and select Device from the drop down labeled "Mode Bank". Now evey time you press [NAVIGATE + PAD1] it will be on device pages, then you can use the jog wheel to scroll through the pages.

Now to get to this page without setting the default, press [D + SELECT] and then from the top row buttons press [F1] for device. Note, doing this still will revert back to Macro if you havn't changed the default for the project.

2. You are in Scales mode, it starts off in C Major, which Dom said I should probably have it default to chromatic. Again there are two ways to switch to chromatic;

In Bitwig: I/O Pane and Maschine MK2 settings, set "In Key" to Chromatic.
On controller: [NAVIGATE + PAD3] (puts it in scale selection mode), then hit [F8] to toggle chromatic mode, you will notice the keyboard changes layout.

I know that because I'm not a scripter/coder that I have to be patient and not expect anything, but if you do get the screen working and a fully functional script for the Maschine Mikro, could you possibly make a new thread?

Actually I am waiting on Bitwig to hear back from NI, right now I have no idea how to get the display and only NI techs do, sorry about that.

I kind of want to keep all the info in this thread, are you worried you will miss me saying I got the Mikro display working post?

Can you explain exactly what is going on and what you have set? I am using chromatic mode and only one pad lights when i press pads.

The script does light pads when you are playing a clip with notes.
