Can we have a better "on" button for the modulators in the new Ozone theme? Something enlighted in red/yellow/light blue whatever, maybe even 10% larger, similar to how it is in the Levitation theme? I find it much harder to see what modulators are on in the Ozone theme, and I can tell that in a fraction of a second in the Levitation theme.

Cool, thanks!

First, congratulations on this grand accomplishment! Definitely impressed - bought this based on an earlier version, now playing through some of the new presets and I see some nice features added. Haven't gone to the level of programming my own patches yet, but a few usage recommendations I can make:

- when you use a control in the plugin whose label is not descriptive enough of its function, show the short name of what it does in either a plugin "status area" or in the default host status area; this helps a great deal when learning controls as you use them (or relearning them later!), especially since there are so many controls on this beast.
Maybe I'm just being slow on the uptake here, but there are several buttons that weren't clear exactly what they were doing, like the ones down the right side (although I had some guesses - 1x - oversampling amount? set - what?), and I'm thinking instead of looking them up it would be nice if they just showed a short functionality blurb in a window somewhere. Understood that over time you learn them, that I should RTFM, also that it may not be practical to make this change, but asking anyway.

- somebody had mentioned about being able to tie notes in the arp already (+1), and about triplets being played by the arp (+1, although I thought I'd read a response indicating this is possible now?)

- also someone else mentioned, secondary popup windows having a different color header than the main window would be great to help distinguish them at a glance (+1)

re: first recommend just above - yep, I was slow on the uptake. I see on the "?" button relative to the entire GUI, the descriptions for those particular buttons there, and other "?" buttons relative to their areas describe those other controls. I assume this was your solution instead of filling in a status text box with a short descr. or something like that when each control is tweaked, so fair enough (and now I remember seeing that on your effect plugins too.)

+1 once again. At least some border so you can see what is the popup and what is the synth. Now with the darker theme it's even more difficult to discern.

Another +1, need this on all the Melda stuff, really slows me down.

Ok so:

- Help windows - you already found out :). You know, this toolbar is actually the same on all Melda plugins, so once you learn it, all plugins will feel "good" :)

- I denied "tie notes" in the arp (if I understand it correctly), but the triplets are already there.

- popup borders - hmm, I just checked and it looks quite right with the new style. Well, I'll check again...

thanks - just in case anybody else cares, besides the "?" for help on stuff in a window, the per-control help feature is there already, just hover over the control you want info on and press F1, very nice. I can see its going to take some time to find all the goodies here

One other thing, I can tell this synth has extraordinary possibilities and flexibility, and the oscillators do sound clean and clear; but somehow I'm noticing the reverbs, both the regular one and the convolution one sound a little bit ringy or metallic to my ears (maybe because I'm spoiled on higher-end super warm ones I guess?) but I was just wondering if this is the end state for those reverbs, or if there is continued work planned on their design. Not a big deal really because in the end, if I want a different reverb I can always post-effect with another plugin I like just for that.

About the status bar: I would really prefer the good old status bar because that way you don't have to click or press any additional buttons/keys to read what a control is for. Tooltip would be another option. I have lots of space on my screen, but if you say a status bar consumes too much space you could make it collapsible.
The current popups are really a drag, first you have to press Ctrl and F1 (which causes a cramp :D ), then you have a large popup window with sometimes lots of information, then you have to go to the middle of the screen and press the close button on the popup. All of that takes half a minute. Reading a short concise description of a button in a status bar would take one second.

About the popup windows border, here an example.
Especially when you look for the controls in the head (e.g. preset field, close button) it is such a "mess" of grays and blacks that it's difficult to spot what belongs to one popup and what to another. Maybe an additional thin border of the 3rd theme color (the light blue) would help a lot?

- Reverbs - well, these are always quite personal :). It's no question of "high-end", it's a question of what you personally like. Some people say the included reverbs the are best, some say these are the worst. I learned to live with the fact that there's no way to make everyone happy :D.

- Borders - I understand, but the point is, when I tried to photoshop it a little, it just looked ugly as hell. But the next version will have thicker borders, so hopefully it will help it.

- Status bar - absolutely not, period. This is an ancient method, I hate it :D.

- about Reverbs: +1 they sound metallic not smooth. Some like metallic, I like smooth. Maybe introduce a control to change between metallic and smooth :-)

- Popups: hm the problem is when there is black on black. If the black border is thicker, this will likely not improve things very much I guess.

- Status bar: Ancient? It's one of today's industry standard for a good reason, because its the most efficient thing. Sad that you rule this out just out of personal preference?

Re distinguishing popup windows...notice how microsoft colours the background of the close button (X) for the focused window....something like that maybe?
And CableChannel, you probably know this, but if your function buttons are not shared with multi media (etc) buttons then F1 works without Ctrl, and if they are shared you can (on Win7 at least) change the behavior such that they are prioritized as function keys.

No I didn't know. What is this "sharing" you talk about? And how to change them to prioritized function keys? Does that have any other consequences?
