I bought at 200$ on musiciansfriend, and I am not in USA! :) I bought through a VPN.

After payment they send me the key in 1h ;)

Come on guys!

I too am in Canada and spoke live to Guitar center rep right now - unfortuantely, they cannot honor shipping to canada, even for the downloadable version - the agent tried with his own shopping cart and switched his country to Canada just to try it...

It looks like right now the best deal is thru Bitwig itself for us Canadians - all the Canadian distributors still list the old $449.99 price!

Was surprised to see Best Buy.ca offers it! another Canadian distributer is avshop.ca

both $449.99...

Regarding the problem with my invalid license key...

Dom did some research on his end and found out that GC sold the same license key to another customer last week.
Long story short, GC had me on the phone for about an hour while performing their own investigation. They finally acknowledged they dropped the ball on this one and will send me a new code "as soon as they can". Needless to say I'm ticked off right about now and will cancel the order altogether if I don't get the license key by the end of the day. I've already made that clear to them.

Hey,
I can sell you the Arturia Producer Pack 49 (just received it last Friday; opened it to verify its contents but definitely unused and in mint condition. Arturia is unregistered and Bitwig license is registered but easily transferable. I can talk to Bitwig to transfer to you once the payment is received. Price is $450 + shipping.
Cheers

Link to US product page:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/daw-soft ... io-1.1-daw

From the product page before placing it in the cart:
"Availability: After finalizing your order for this downloadable product you'll receive an activation key via email. This email will include a product link and directions for downloading.(Credit approval may take up to a 24 hours.)"

After putting into cart, change the location to Canada and then read the note about where does it ship.

I did the work, all I can do.

Another offer,
I can sell you as good as new Panorama P6 with Bitwig Studio license; I am flexible.. too many keyboards here! Price is $799 + shipping. If you're in Vancouver, BC then you can check it out yourself. Anybody interested send me a private message or feel free to inquire here. I won't feel as flexible for a long time, trust me.
Cheers

Maybe you guys in the north should find some Southern Comfort, if you know what I mean, eh?

I'm not talkin' the drinkable kind. Canadian whiskey is much better :tu:

Eta Carinae wrote:Wow, I don't know why Ogopogo has such a bad attitude towards you. I completely understand your point, it's only natural to feel bad when you miss out on a good deal like that. I once bought a plugin, then found out there was an 80% off the next week. 80%! I was fuming, but contacted them and they gave me some credit to buy new plugins with.

Andy at Cytomic said he likes to keep his prices constant. And I can see why - it can create bad feeling when someone buys a product early, then finds out it's going for much less later on.
Ok, this will probably be the last thing I'll say on the matter to keep this from devolving into a fight. I didn't mean for what I said to be the big insult it's apparently being taken as. I just wanted to point out a why of thinking that I thought was illogical. I may have misinterpreted what he expected although as I said there were some clues there that made it look a certain way.

You however, are undeniably one of the people I was talking about. You think you deserve a sale price because you bought right before a sale. That makes no sense; there has to be a cutoff sometime if there is going to be a sale as a said in my first post. Somebody has to miss the sale, so why not just accept your luck that it was you? Why fume and argue for them to gift you money?

It's a real shame if Cytomic actually does keep their prices constant just in order to avoid this sort of thing. Thats means that an actual chance for at least some people to save some money is dashed purely out of the jealously of the people who didn't get the deal.

I've seen this argument so many times on kvr. I just want to go on record saying I can understand totally with having that drastic a sale in a short period of time kinda pissing me off.

It's true you don't always win.......shit happens. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna feel good about
