I am trying to implement some pitch modulation (vibrato) in the presets using my keyboards joystick but I cant get the desired result. I know the "basic synth" preset has some vibrato control but its a very shallow modulation and I cant make it deeper and am unsure what module to add/control with the joystick.
Also.....
I mainly use presets and just tweak the visible parameters but I would like to create sounds from scratch too so will probably be asking for help as I go along.

You can start by adding to your Basic Synth Rack a MUX Presets>Effects>Amplifier>Tremolo (which has Depth & Speed). Then you will have tremolo, vibrato, echo and filter with two oscillators at different tunings & layers, to give your ears a workout.
Then R-click a parameter to Map Midi Controller, or go to Session>Edit Midi Controller Map to map several at once, or my favorite: R-click on your Basic Synth Track>Add Automation Sub Track and navigate to your drug of choice. Next, then replace the Basic Synth with MuSynth and get LFOs etc.

Thanks, I will give that a whirl, I'm not exactly unfamiliar with making sounds its just knowing where to look for the right modules and routings :tu:

Thanks for clarifying. To find modules, click the "Z" on the Basic Synth front panel to open up its modular area. The "vibrato" is the LFO module with your choice of shapes. That LFO is also found with related modules in the Mux Modules>Modulation Generators. Also a Leslie in Mux Presets>Modulation.

I found what I was looking for, it was the "Pitch Range" within the oscillators
