old elicenser activations don't show in the ASC, and on 'my arturia' they only show if you expand the 'elicenser activations' view (defaults to showing ASC activations).
That's obvious, several don't show up when I expand the tab.

yikes analog lab doesn't work at all, nor does it work properly with the keylab 61.

I like the new synths. I snagged the upgrade to V4. Hope the issues with keylab get worked out.

EDIT: ok, evidently they already have a new licensemanager and activation update. I'm running it now to see if it clears up the issues. Evidently the keylab keyboards were not "activated" on the initial version.

Also, all of your products should now be set correctly to 1 activation out of 5. Or however many you actually had.

Update did nothing. Analog lab completely dead stand alone, and non-functional in a host. It no longer responds correctly to the knob mode and has a unusable lag. Geez, it was finally working and now its like we are back to square one.

Is there a grace period? I purchased V3 just last September.

im glad its not just me im having issues with analog lab too..i can no longer use any of my user presets and the new matrix 12 presets seem too be in some kind of demo mode they seem to time out and miss notes.also in Cubase 7.5 everytime you open the analog lab gui it changes your sound but displays the same name.
ive sent arturia a help email they've sent me a quick reply saying there looking into it.

ive managed to get keylab to work in standalone a bit..you have to uncheck all your midi boxes in preferences then close then restart ,open prefs again make sure everything is unchecked in midi then tick just keylab, then click on sync..this should work but youll still lose your old user presets and new patchs wont work properly but at least some parameters now work.
hope they fix it properly tomorrow.

There's a discount, yes. I picked up the upgrade for $99. Check your account on Arturia to see if you qualify (I bought V3 in August during their 50% off discount so no reason why you shouldn't get one).

As for Analog Lab, well it's working fine for me under Logic X, but my (non-Arturia) keyboards don't work when I use the app stand-alone. Actually I've never really used the Lab before, this is better than I remember... kindof like smart controls under X.

Solina was unplayably crackly on my 2011 iMac (4-core i5, 2.5GHz) until I increased the buffer size to 256, but seems okay now. I'll live.

Post

... aaand I just hit up Solina's Warm Humanoid EN patch and played along to Cars. That alone was worth a hundred bucks.

Saw the $99 upgrade offer in my account. I was hoping more for free if you fall under a grace period of less than 3 months or so. Gonna wait it out until January as I don't see anything there that is new and significant. Don't care much for the new instruments. Plus i'm broke anyway after all the Black Friday sales. LOL

Haha, I hear ya. I went into BF largely looking for a string machine emulator and walked away with Synth Squad (for Amber), Reaktor (all them user libraries) and now this. Think I can go ahead and tick off that box now.

My non Arturia keyboards did not work in the stand-alone either until after a reboot. I wonder if a REBOOT might fix the issues with Keylab.

Has anyone tried?

(Can't believe but a reboot fixed two other issues I had, he he.)

Yikes! I downloaded V-Collection 4 and I'm having lots of issues. If I switch from one Arturia plugin to another Arturia plugin (like from mini V to SEM V), Logic crashes over 50% of the time. I can avoid the crashes by switching to another brand plugin and then back to an Arturia plugin.

Even worse, my sustain pedal doesn't work with CS-80V2, Matrix-12V demo, Prophet V2, Solina V demo, or Vox V demo. Sustain pedal just has no effect. Sustain DOES work with all other Arturia plugins.

I'm running latest Logic and Yosemite, UAD apollo twin.

Um it works just like the real synth...AND ALWAYS HAS (at least as long as I have had them)! For example you have to switch the sustain button in bottom left hand side of the CS-80V and then choose the length of your sustain (the yellow slider). Nothing has changed. How much did you use this? (Edit: it took some awhile to figure it out 6 years ago http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=225186)

But for the record, there are some issues that I hope they will fix. And I am submitting as I find them.

Hmmm.... I guess I do need to look at CS-80V more closely - haven't used it in several years. But what about the Prophet, Matrix, and Solina synths? Do they also have sustain functions I have to switch on?
