Something weird (since latest update?): every time I have used Tracktion, next time I want to open it nothing happens. Have to reboot before it responds again. What could possibly cause this?

tracktion is shutting down completely by the sounds of it.
If you use ctrl/alt/del after closing tracktion down, you'll probably see that there are still tracktion processes running.
There was a bug in T a few builds back which stopped it shutting down correctly, but this has supposedly been fixed. It may be that there are still a few unfound bugs, but it may also be that a particular plugin you are using is not closing cleanly, wich in turn is stopping Tracktion from shutting down fully.
Try systematically hunting for any plugins, input output devices etc, that may be locking up. If you can't find any then it is probably T at fault. In which case notify Jules.

I used to have this bug. But luckily one of the updates fixed it (atleast for me). I think it helps it if you wait a while maybe 5 minutes before opening another music app after closing Tracktion. To give it time to shut down. And ofcourse closing it in the "Process" tab if its still running.
