Just a caveat by the slave on the triumph chariot: please don't allow Nora to be weighed down by feature bloat!squaredheads wrote:Yes, it is. If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Do you mean it sends an "All notes off" message on all 16 channels? The All Notes Off message was handled somewhat inefficiently in Dune, however we fixed that for the coming update. So if that was the reason it's going to be finesquaredheads wrote:When you stop your host, Nora sends a stop all message. This message mean 127 note off x 16 channels. If the synth or host processes those noteOffs maybe it could be the reason of the CPU usage peak.

That would be great Richard, I assume you mean Dune 1 and 2 ?Richard_Synapse wrote:Do you mean it sends an "All notes off" message on all 16 channels? Trying this as an alternative, as the chained VST route has failed. Do you need to do something to create the virtual midi ports? On my system, demos of Kirnu Cream and Rapid Composer show up as having virtual midi ports, but Nora does not. I have done nothing to configure the former two, they appear to just do it out of the box.squaredheads wrote:After researching for a while about the Live problem, I may say that Live unfortunately doesn't support any kind of MIDI Chanel filtering (using track routing). However it supports it when the MIDI is comming from an external device.
What you're seeing in that screenshot "From Cream 2" is because Cream is being used as AU with Virtual MIDI port. You can use Nora aswell as AU and you will have the same result, you will be able to filter the MIDI Channel with the port "Nora Input x".

Thank you. I'm optimizing the process too, to send less note off messages.Richard_Synapse wrote:Do you mean it sends an "All notes off" message on all 16 channels? I bought Nora 2 because it's unique, also the idea of hosting VSTi's is great.
Two feature requests from my side:
16 tracks and up to 64 patterns per track
or unlimited number of tracks and unlimited number patterns per track.
Because the usage of Nora2 is very flexibel it could be that users would like to use maybe 3 or 10 or 24 tracks and having more patterns per track would improve also the flexibility.
Beside this, really great work !

Great call firepile...firepile wrote:Right. Would be great if it could be docked at the bottom of the window below the phrase editor/pattern editor.elassi wrote:It's not docked but floating on top of the pattern editor.firepile wrote:How do you dock the Playlist window, as shown on page 9 in the manual?

Have not touched the playlist as of yet (So many features to go through)... But, seems like the playlist 'naturally' belongs there... Great call again..
