That would necessitate changes on all other panes indeed. Almost like a whole new skin

Removing the XY pad from the SYNTH tab is not a big deal. I could remove it and move the FX Grid upwards to the Mixer and that would allow me to minimize the vertical size of Zebra window. Now the problem is what should I do with the content of the other tabs? I would have to redesign everything in XYs, OSCs and MSEGs tabs to fit all the controls in a smaller window size. For example, there wouldn't be enough space for all 4 MSEG editors in MSEGs tab. I'd have to introduce secondary tabs again to switch between MSEG1-4. Same for the XYs and OSCs tabs. This means more clicks, more mousing and in the end less informative interface. That would ruin the concept of the skin. The whole reason I made it in the first place. I'm afraid I can't do it.

No worries drzhnn
. I guess you started writing that before I realized the full implications of my request, and edited my previous post!

drzhnn, have you thought of making the same styled skin for Zebralette perhaps? I think that might be cute

a small issue... or perhaps as intended...
with OSC and MSEGS when I clicked on the preset, I got nothing...
this is due to it not showing directories, so I couldn't navigate to the factory one
so,I had to switch to the original theme, select a directory containing presets, and then switch back to ZebraRedux.
is this intended?.. or is there something I'm missing to navigate to the correct directories?

Presets for osc and MSEG are working on the Synth tab, but not on Osc or MSEG tabs unfortunately. Not sure if it's something that's currently not possible with skinning or something that drzhnn couldn't figure out how to do.

I don't use Zebralette at all, so personally I'm not interested in making such skin. Sorry. Furthermore, I don't know how people usually work with Zebralette, so I can't think of a new layout which would improve usability.EvilDragon wrote:drzhnn, have you thought of making the same styled skin for Zebralette perhaps? As EvilDragon already said, that's something I have yet to figure out. At the moment I don't even know if it is possible or not.thetechnobear wrote:a small issue... or perhaps as intended...

I like this skin/workflow layout.
I'm on a 27" iMac and it works very well .
2 notes:
The OFF/ON indicators for the Envelopes are 'backwards' from intuitive.
Bright light is ON when there envelope is OFF? Seems odd.
Is there a way to maybe 'dim/grey out' the whole Envelope pane when it is off?
Maybe redraw the RED button at the top and have it as an overlay the same size as the envelope pane as a grey transparency.
2nd: I like how the original layout shows you which generator pane is associated with which module in the Main grid by highlighting it when a module is selected.
Redux does not seem to have this feature.
Other than that .... you're on a roll.
I'm enjoying the outcome of your ENORMOUS efforts.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Easy fix for that MSEG4 bug. Find this line:
PARAMETER control='MultiStage 1435' port='Phase3' module='MSEG4' parameter='Phs'
Change it to this:
PARAMETER control='MultiStage 1435' port='Phase4' module='MSEG4' parameter='Phs'
PARAMETER control='MultiStage 1435' port='Phase3' module='MSEG4' parameter='Phs'
Change it to this:
PARAMETER control='MultiStage 1435' port='Phase4' module='MSEG4' parameter='Phs'
