I have a weird issue in T5, latest release:

I can load my BlueZone samples and loops and they time-stretch wonderfully.

BUT - when I load in one of my Guitar Kitchen WAVE files, the timestretch section goes blank. Sorry, no can do. :?

Does anyone have any idea of what might be causing this? I can use the pitch-shift plugin, which works great there, but I'd dearly love to timestretch these guitar loops!

Any help appreciated! :)

Ok, I've discovered that SONAR apparently does this as well (at least X3). It refuses to timestretch the same loop.

I suspect it has to do with how the WAVE file was authored.. it appears that true ACIDized WAVEs will only timestretch if you adjust BPM.. so dropping T5 down to 20 BPM (the lowest I could set it to) stretched the thing out long enough for my evil purposes.

Just an FYI now.. problem solved. :)

Good. I did wonder about making your clip the source of an edit clip and making the inserted clip shorter or longer.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Worth a try.. might give it a go when I get home. Thanks!

Hi SyntheticAurality, if you click on the clip and then the "Loop Properties" tab of the what are the root tempo, beats and pitch settings? These need to be set for auto tempo to work (so it can sync to the Edit). Usually these get filled in by the Acid chunk of the WAV file or Apple Loop Metadata for AIFFs. If this isn't present in the file you'll have to enter these manually.

Does that help or is the problem something else?
