Zebra2 GUI improvements

I love Zebra. It sounds phenomenal, is light on the CPU, and is extremely versatile. However, the "datedness" of the GUI bothers me and makes it harder to work with it than it should be, especially on less-than-ideal monitors. The GUI has been unchanged in the 7 years or so it has been out, and it deserves an upgrade. I know that it will be too much to ask from the always-busy U-he people to start working on this right away, but I might have a very good solution: KVR member drzhnn, as you might know, released an excellent skin pack for Zebra2 called "Zebra Redux" a few months ago. My idea is that the U-he team could optimize this skin (fix the few issue that is has, make it work as good as possible etc.) , and then include it as an official skin in the next update.

I could use a new skin too. This one has all these lumps, bumps, warts, scars and wrinkles.
A lot like a zebra with great survival skills...leave it be, let us age gracefully.

I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Problem with that Redux skin: it doesn't fit on Non-HD notebook displays - and any professional skin has to provide that functionality as there are a lot of people working on notebooks nowadays.kuzami wrote: KVR member drzhnn, as you might know, released an excellent skin pack for Zebra2 called "Zebra Redux" a few months ago. I'd be happy if only the Dark Horse skin could get an update.

Just installed it has the new distortion Urs added a while back
I prefair real looking knobs that stick out but it's still great. I like how the Bazille Gear Porn skin has everything laid out on one page.
Thanks for the heads up on this skin.

Yes, this skin is really different and useful, but I can't use it on my laptop. Also, it's a problem that clicking on a module in the grid doesn't scroll to and highlight that module for editing. Still, there a lot of things I like about this skin, especially the large Osc and MSEG displays! These are great for doing edits. Much easier than the original skin.kuzami wrote:

Hey LFO8,
I like your Asylum skin. Highlighting modulations with red text is a nice touch. The only page I'm not wild about is the mod matrix. The red labels seem a little dark without enough contrast, but my eyes aren't what they used to be, so it could be me. Is it the same red that you used on the other modules? It looks darker to me. Anyway, nice work!
